I only caught parts, but yesterday Hoffy was needling Nuno about him apparently getting contacted by somebody from a rival station who wanted to meet with him. I guess Hoffy was mad that Nuno didn't mention it to him or that he didn't just turn them down right away. Anyways, he kept putting Nuno on the spot to explain what was going on and I guess he started getting annoyed at Hoffy. Then near the end, Hoffy was doing his usual tired shtick about how he has to do all the work for their shows and Nuno asks Hoffy if he had to haul the equipment out to the remot and set it up or something and Hoffy keeps at it and Finally Nuno says something like "You know what FU and your Ipod, why don't you pack this stuff up" and he storms off. Somebody on the 1560 boards who was there said that it was pretty uncomfortable during the show and that Hoffy wouldn't talk to Nuno during the breaks. So I assume he really did get pissed and I don't blame him. For one thing, Hoffy wears out his welcome really quick and I'm sure that Nuno and Raheel both put more work into that show than Hoffy does. 2nd, where does Hoffy get off at being annoyed at Nuno listening to other offers. Nuno doesn't have a cushy job at the Chron that pays him well to ramble on about fast food and pro wrestling. Nuno just had 2 kids and you'd have to be insane to turn down a chance to make more money when you've got mouths to feed.
ok I gotta get the podcast for this...I think I've heard them clown around on air like that before... I just don't get Hoffy on a sports radio station, he belongs on something like 740...
I would pay anything to see NMR hit a game winner!!! BTW, What a great win for the guys over the LeBrons!
