Artest & Battier had ankle issues earlier in the season. Kobe ran into a weak duo but this time around Kobe will get a technical or 2 in frustration. I bet you sraight up.

Nah, giving Kobe a tough time and stopping Kobe is a different thing. With his supporting cast it makes him harder to stop. Also Lebron has weaknesses on offense, teams let him shoot the jumpshot. No one playing Kobe is going to say "Yeah, i'm going to let him shoot the jumpshot." you can't give him anything and when he has a bad night it's usually because his entire team is sucking or because Odom is a wuss and Gasol is a bigger wuss.

Wonderful win! Never expected Rockets could dominate the hottest team in the league so easily.

No assist in tonight's game for LBJ. We are all witnesses.

If there's any team that can slow down Kobe, it's gotta be the Rockets. Ron Ron and Battier already showed how they can slow down the most unstoppable player in the league, and the fact that Yao is waiting under the basketball always helps! It's almost impossible to shut down a player like Kobe, heck, LBJ still scored 20 points tonight, but he obviously had a subpar game. I expect the Rox to do the same to Kobe when we meet the Lakers in the Western finals :D

    D. Howard attemps fewer shots per game than Yao, although getting to the free throw line more often.

Yeah I agree, we have a good shot at making Kobe play a bad game. The key though is also shutting down everyone else.

If we see the Lakers in the WCF, we'll win because Odom is mcsoftee and Pau is mcsofter. We have gritty guys like Scola, Artest, Battier, Landry, and Lowry the Lakers are a soft team that still has problems on defense. They will be exploited in the playoffs by either the Spurs, Celts, Cavs, or even us.

I hope the Cavs are rejuvenated after this humbling loss, and beat the hell out of the Spurs tomorrow.

Two and three years ago with JVG, the Rox would hold teams to 20 or less probably 3 out of every 8 quarters. JVG did in it part by slowing down the game. What is impressive about the recent defense of the Rox is that they are holding teams down while also playing an up tempo game.

This kind of team basketball is fun to watch and gives hope for a run in the playoffs mainly because two or three guys step up every night. It seemed with Tracy playing that he dominated the ball so much that the other players stood around and were not prepared to produce offensively.

Remember in the championship years 1994/1995 that the Rox defense was one of the best in the league. Of clourse, Akeem had something to do with that.

This was a great win for the Rockets, even though I do believe the Cavs are over-rated. Ron Artest has stepped up to become a leader on the floor and off. LBJ put up the weirdest stat-line I've seen in recent years lol! 0 ast 1 reb! Soak that in Barkley and Kenny!
