Two TO machines who can't run team offense won't make Houston to deep playoff. If RA is still in Rockets uniform, I do believe Rockets have a decent chance to win it all this year. But now, Rockets should be able to pass 1st round. How ironic it is. Current Rockets is definitely a better team in WC other than LA, SA. Jazz and portland may give rockets some trouble, but they should be OK.

Think about it. in the beginning of the season, I expected Rockets a high 60 wins team if everybody is healthy. Without Tmac, they still able to win 60+ games. A 60+ win defense-oriented team have a decent chance to win WC.

Without RA, the chance is gone. Even a great as Steve nash can't win western championship. How can AB/KL doit?

Rafer Alston= RA? the worst starting PG in NBA?

RA is our chance or weakest link? I am confused.

If its all on the PG then Boston sure is as hell are hiding something. Derek Fisher sure as hell aint a portrait either. Your reasoning is stupid. We werent going anywhere with Rafer but then again Rafer isnt what was holding us up. But I wont go there either.

Wasn't it Les a couple of months ago who said, "And Rafer, for the salary he makes in this league to have a starting point guard as good as him is a terrific value. Point guard and center are the two hardest positions to find. I'm not going to get a better point guard than him." ?

I guess what he meant is, "Other than my current backup and the third stringer for the 15-42 Memphis Grizzlies, I'm not going to get a better point guard than Rafer."

Take Les as seriously as you would take McGrady.

Both have a history of talking crap.

Alston is one of the worst 5 starting PGs in the NBA. You think we really got that much worse?

at least Les is the best owner in the league tho. Something Tmac doesn't know anything about.

Maybe he is. But he's one of the best defensive PG, a ground general in half court with low TO. Besides, he made many big crultch shot even though his shot% usually is low. AB dribbled too much, and his TOs gave other team easy basket, and he couldn't pass the ball to yao.

Morey talked about the trade before the dtrade deadline. obvious this move is for the future and the owner and management are giving up this season. that's why Chinese reporters said Yao and Les/Morey were not in the same page. I feel sorry for the players of yao/battier/artest/scola. they deserves better.

But NBA is always business. I saw the greedy owner Jerry R. even forced the greatest M. J. retired and broke the bulls. Compring with that, it's a piece of cake to break this team.

With yao in the middle, you want to 'run and gun'. This may be not stupid, but you won't win WC. RA fits very well with Yao at his price. Ab fit very well play booby jackson's role in kings. BB is a team game.

Basically you are in the same page with Les. It called loser mentality. I don't care RA 30% shooting, I care when he's on the court of last playoff series, , Rockets beat Utah. Now he's the missing piece for Rockets to win WC this year.

Rafer Alston is that you? How the hell can Rafer fit with Yao Ming when he can't even hit a wide open 3 pt shot? Loser mentality? You're the one with the loser mentality! You're saying we're doomed because we traded Alston (LOL) right? That's the very definition of loser mentality
