http://blogs.chron.com/nba/2009/02/join_jonathan_feigen_for_a_liv.html Didn't want to post the whole chat here....so check out the link. But here are a few Q/As: 12:59 [Comment From Guest] The 4th quarter in blazers game showed repeating worrisome performance by the Rockets team. I'm wondering how could the coach not making the adjustment during that long stretch of the game, it was the last 5 or 6 minutes without a single field goal, and they could not get the ball to Yao either. Part of it might be on the point guard as well. But this kind of performance is really mind boggling and showed why this team is not a true contender, YET... 1:02 ChronicleSports: You might have noticed that there was another team at that game. Sometimes they have something to do with what happens. This was a good example. The Rockets can do things better down the stretch and worked on that in yesterday's practice, but I think you are overreacting considering the Rockets did get some good looks in that stretch, had a few turnovers that had nothing to do with schemes or adjustments and oh by the way, won the game. 1:02 [Comment From bigdeal] jon, what is the status of luther head and his future with the rockets? 1:03 ChronicleSports: Luther should be returning to the active roster any day. He said he went through the past few practices without restrictions. He is out of the rotation and does not figure in their plans beyond this season. 1:13 [Comment From Guest] any chances of re-signing artest for next season? if not, who would the rockets have in mind to replace him? 1:15 Jonathan Feigen: I think there is a good chance if they want to go that way. This is not a very good season to be a free agent, with the salary cap likely to be reduced and the economy hitting teams pretty hard. There is not an obvious two-three to chase in free agency. Hedo Turkoglu would be interesting and the Magic already have spent a lot around their roster with Dwight Howard only a few years away from his max contract. Still, he would seem tough to get.
this dudes kind of an smart-ass. why is he taking questions if it makes him an ass? or is that just who he is?
Feigen's chats are a great way to learn more about the team and decision making the coaches make. He's a great spokesman for them.
Dude, he's answering fan questions and is a valuable information source. What's wrong with a Q&A session? I, for one, appreciate it a lot.
2:31 [Comment From Chris Farley] Remember when Devin Harris hit that shot from half court against the sixers? .....That was awesome. 2:31 Jonathan Feigen: Good job. I liked that one.
It's cool that he takes the time to answer questions but he belittles some and tries to make some look stupid.
Yeah, I'm a big Turkoglu fan. I know he's been a little down this year, but I think he'd be a great fit.
He's not exactly participating in a chat with NBA analysts, just like some posters overreact and say things without thinking here it also happens there, and sometimes they deserve to get a smart ass answer.
