i do think having hayes on lebron in situational minutes is good to give ron and shane a break. if i remember right hayes did ok against james (well as best as you can do) in cleveland last year when he had to guard him to give shane a break.

hayes has quick feet and a strong body to be able to play honest defense against james


if the refs have it in for the rockets this game is over

though i hope that since its a national tv game they may call it more fairly.

even if lebron goes for 45, if the rest of his team only gets 45, that's still only 90 pts......i'm more worried about mo williams destroying aaron brooks.

People really need to stop complaining about the officiating. The game will be played and the Rockets have to take whatever the Refs give them (even if it is unfair). Because injustice fall under the "moral victories" category and certainly doesn't win anything that matters.

A good team will play through adversity, including (esp.) crooked officiating.

I expect the Rockets to play through it and win the game even if Yao gets 5 phantom calls in the first half.

 

rather than only thinking about how to defend lebron, i's call a few post plays for artest right out the gate, just to see if we can get lebron in foul trouble early. i mean it's not like yao is the only target...

 

You'd only be able to see two eyes and maybe some teeth. LeBron makes Wesley Snipes look like an albino.

 

I haven't read most of the replies on this thread, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I really don't see Lebron scoring 40+ on us.

lol no, but from what the girls were saying he committed quite a few fouls of his own.

 

Thing is, he has no chance of 45, Battier + Artest are the best combination to guard LeBron. I'll be surprised if he gets 25.... unless of course he forces it and that means a victory for us.

 

Only way Lebron will get 30+ is if the physical defense played on him yields many trips to the foul line.

 

Yeah... we always hold him in check... He's basically taken out of the game whenever we play him with a healthy roster... He has no respect for Artest or Battier, that's what he gets.

 

Well I expect the Rockets to play overall great team defense tonight. I expect a win against the Cavs, road or home.

Eh... lol, I never really noticed when and if it happened. To be honest, I don't even know what the difference is between the two, but I haven't seen any difference in any functions or anything since I've registered to Clutchfans.
