People should try using Google before they try stupid crap. I googled "gasoline" and "lice" and found this story which is more tragic. A mother tried to do the same treatment to her 13 year old son because they didn't want to have to cut his dreads off. It's only a darwin award if she dies or something happens to her junk so she can't get pregnant. She takes herself out of the gene pool.
This is true. However, with burns on >50% of her body she has dramatically reduced her chances of reproducing.
