With ISU and Colorado coming up they better not be like this. I think we are in the tourney if we win those 2 and the first conference tourney game now regardless of the Mizzou game. Josh just saved the season right there.
I live in the dorms.. when Josh put that shot up and it went through, a simultaneous scream ensued from every freaking room in my floor.. I knocked on my suitemates like a mad man and we proceeded to non-homosexually hug each other/celebrate like insane.. considering the start of the game, this was unbelievably, 13in35'ish, I love this team!! Dash with a sick dunk! and what the hell is wrong with the officials/commentators? the officials were clearly favoring the huskers the entire game, that call on the dunk was utter B.S, adn the travel was freaking stupid considering he DIDN'T have position on the first dribble/knock on the ball..then those stupid commentators keep making ignorant comments on our team as if they know what they're talking about.. and after the game, ESPN and ESPN2 proceeded to ignore that an unbelievable buzzer beater just took place and showed random highlights from across the nation then discussed how awesome Duke and Pitt are.. seriously, at least show it a couple times, geez.. if it was Duke or heck, TU, that won on an amazing last second shot, they'd be endlessly playing it.. but whatever, Tourney here we come!!!
I watched TAMU play VT in football in the dorms once. You should have heard the sound they made when our punter kicked a 7 yard punt. Now thats special.
haha awesome! well, not exactly awesome, but hilarious.. it must have been an awful sound to hear, you know, something resembling the scream of a forest animal in mating season.. idk why people whine about dorm life, but I freaking love it..I don't care about hte noises, the limited space, and the restrictions, the little "togetherness" feeling that the dorm provides outweighs all of this.. I will hopefully be at the game this weekend, we need to kick butt and rap this thing up to go to the big dance.. I freakin CANNOT wait..

So we should win the remaining games, minus Mizzu. If we win one tourney game, are we in? If we beat Mizzu, I think we are a lock when you combine that with our overall record, RPI, SOS, wins against LSU (who knew they would be this good this year) Arizona and tu.
If we beat Mizzou and take care of business yes, I think we are a lock. If we lose to Mizzou I think we might need 2 tourney wins to be safe. I could easily see the NCAA only taking 4 teams from the Big 12. Right now all we have done is moved up on Baylor for the possible 5th spot.
I just don't get it when ESPN and the others go over all their bubble watches and have teams with inferior RPI and SOS and very average records, yet don't seem to really give us a shot. All b/c of the conference we are in.
Well all we had to do was beat OU once or not lose to Tulsa. You are right though, after we beat LSU they still received top 25 votes, the Ags did not. Tulsa is actually decent too... Bracketology gives me a headache.

If we beat mizz we are in, otherwise we probably have to win 2 games in the big12 tourney. Its hard to make it into the tourney with 8 conferance losses. Lets hope all the teams we beat win out. More importantly, Northside>>> Southside. Moore Hall Truckers, Bad Mother *****ers, Best Damn dorm on campus! *Lowest dorm GPA on campus 2003-2004 (I sure did my part)
I was a Leggett Longneck many years ago, and my son is currently a fish in Walton. He has graced me with more dorm yells than a mother really needs to hear.
I certainly understand the badass atmosphere of the northside, but sometimes a brother just needs his sleep, and the southside is freaking amazing in that regard (at least the engineering dorm I'm staying at) I'm also blessed with a lazy a$$ roommate with very similar sleeping pattern (12 hours a night), so needless to say, it's awesome.. plus, you need some help on your engineering homework, no problem: step out to the lobby and a collection of different nerdy engineers are waiting to help..want a smoking break? step down to the court yard.. the commons is awesome.. ping pong tables, mediocre food (but still food), pool, etc... I LOVE IT! now let's kick some Mizzou a$$ and go all the way! it's gonna be at home, and I promise we're gonna be rowdy..gosh I can't freaking wait! on a side note, being a fan of aggie basketball is a bazillion times better than aggie football.. maybe it's because we suck in football, but the atmosphere in Reed is awesome, and we get to sit down during time outs, and it's not 1000 degrees on some occasions..I just hope our football team is half way decent next year so I can have a happier experience in Kyle, but as for now: b-ball >>> football
According to the new ESPN bubble watch, they think we are in with 2 out of our last 3 ... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bubblewatch?id=88 Of course if we had a bad loss in the conf tourney that would knock us out, so I think we get in with 3 wins and no bad losses (meaning we can still lose to Mizzou and win 1 game in the tourney and we are in).
