I don't think Illgauskas has to be the problem that everyone think he can be. I haven't read through the thread so don't know if anyone suggested this yet, but Scola can guard Big Z and Yao can guard Ben.

The Cavs bigs aren't all that. Big Z is the only one with any range. Anderflop and Ben are no threats at all in the offensive side.

In all seriousness, nobody should be knocked for bad English but bad judgment is unacceptable, no matter where you're from. There is no reason this couldn't go in the game thread where many others are offering their "keys to the game." Imagine if every member created a thread like this for every game.

 

Flop-athon when Varejao is guarding Yao

you're gonna see the first double flop, scola on the post with varejao behind him. Scola backs down and flops forward while anderson falls on backside.

 

It's a good trategy, but can we stop Mo Willanms? If we could shut them both down, we would WIN for sure.

It really dosen't matter, as now the No.2-9 seeds are very close. What make us different is to join Lakers and become a member of unit 1.

We got to watch out for the flopping. It can't be controlled, but Varejao always seems to find a way to take Yao away from his game.

 

i dont think this game is bigger than the blazer game for the fact that the blazer game had serious standings and playoff implications. IF we win this game we are talked about more but if not then its ok, we are getting used to the new us. IF we get talked about or if we dont get talked about, it doesnt make a difference, it doesnt make us a better or worse team so yeah

I can't wait to see how much are D has improved. Cavaliers will be good test for that. We kept are last four opponents under 100 points.

We took on the 5th( Dirk), 8th(Roy), 10th and 19th(Carter and Harris) leading scorers in the league. Now we get to take on #2 In the NBA, LB3.

We Have one in the Top 50! But I guess thats just proof of How good of team we are and how much better we can be. We're a whole different Squad Now. It's going to be fun to see what we can do!

A couple other Rantings Since I can't post a thread. I just want to say Aaron Brooks has the potential to be awesome in this league. Speed kills in the NBA these days.
I really don't want to get into stats, but I will say his game really reminds me of Tony Parkers minus the broke J. He just needs the minutes now he's getting them.
