spurs is the most overrated team in the league, i am already very impressed they haven't fallen apart this year , but next for sure
People don't like it or like what I'm about to say, but when you compare a 23 yr old dream vs 23 yr old howard, they are eerily similar and he's a joy to watch.
Not at all. Dream, even at that age, had footwork and was a great individual defender. Howard...not so much....
So you don't think Howard is a good individual defender? I know Dream had better footwork, but dream had better footwork than most guards. Dream also went to college and played under guy lewis. This guy is straight from high school is at the age of 23 is the leading shotblocker,defender, and he's dropping 21 a game.
That was very unclutch by Johnson. Not only did he give up a decent scoring chance, he nearly turned the ball over passing the ball backwards (McGrady style) to an unprepared Flip Murray.

I know people on this board will never give the guy his due, but from my eyes and perspective, he's a clone. Will he ever be the offensive player hakeem was? Probably not, but he has some better footwork than people want to give credit for. Just because he powers up and dunks when he gets a opening doesn't mean he's not skilled.
Denver is fragile, but the Hawks were without Bibby and Josh Smith and have been HORRIBLE on the road. Denver would crumble this year and lose their division if their schedule wasn't so easy. Even if Denver tumbles during the next week or two with this tough stretch, they have such a cream puff schedule afterwards that they'll reel off 6 in a row even if they play poorly.
Against IMO inferior opponents and in a watered down guard oriented NBA of today. Dream played in the golden age of centers in the NBA and it was a rougher league back then. Watching Dwight is like watching a poor man's Dream without the ferocity and mean streak. He's actually more like David Robinson without the perimeter faceup game.
