I am trying to get an online record of my history as a driver. I need to figure out how many violations I received that made it to my driver's record, but the tricky part is getting instant access to that information and not having to wait over a week for DPS to mail it.

    Any suggestions?

Yeah I know that site, but the problem is I cannot view my record online, it only allows you to order it and then they mail it to you a week later.

I was hoping for instant access to my driver's record.

    Different question, same agency.

Has anyone not been able to renew their driver's license online? WTF. The customer service line is dead.

On the renewal card, it said bring proof of social security card. I'm all for it if it keeps illegals from getting driver's licenses but it sucks to have to stand in line to get it renewed.

if you renewed online last time you wont be able to do it again. You will have to go to the dps. I believe they allow you to renew online every other renewal period.

They don't do that. You have to wait for it to come in the mail. I asked DPS about that a couple of years ago. Unless things have changed you have to wait for it to come in the mail.
