I wish they would have. Adds to the home court advantage.

Well hopefully Hank leaves because he adds nothing to the conversation in this thread. And he's a troll. If he can contribute something other than "hey, you guys lost, hope to see you in the NIT" then I'm fine with him. Other than that, it's a tired act.

Congrats to Baylor on the victory today.

Now if A&M could figure out how to shoot free throws...ARGH!

    Speaking of class...

Looks like your Kevin Rogers doesn't like going there.

Nice job making your HS forfeit their state championship because you couldn't pass a theatre class! Haha...

South Oak Cliff to forfeit 2005 state boys basketball title

03:05 AM CST on Saturday, February 21, 2009

By DAMON L. SAYLES / The Dallas Morning News

South Oak Cliff is forfeiting its 2005 state boys basketball championship after an independent investigation determined that grades for three players were improperly changed from failing to passing, Dallas ISD superintendent Michael Hinojosa said Friday.

On Thursday, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reported grades were improperly changed for three SOC athletes before the 2005 UIL state tournament.

WFAA identified the players as Kevin Rogers, Darrell Arthur and Kendrake Johnigan. Hinojosa would not confirm those names. Arthur is an NBA rookie, playing for the Memphis Grizzlies. Rogers is a senior on the Baylor basketball team.

The 6-9 Rogers has scored in double figures for 16 consecutive games for Baylor, which plays this afternoon against Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Baylor basketball spokesman Chris Yandle declined to comment, citing student privacy laws.

Arthur could not be reached for comment.

In a nine-page synopsis of its investigation presented Friday afternoon, the agency determined that a former player's theater arts grade was changed to passing during the third six-week period of the 2004-05 fall semester, and the same player's theater arts grade was changed to passing during the first six-week period of the spring semester.

The agency also determined failing algebra grades were improperly changed. A failing Algebra I grade recorded during the spring 2003 semester was changed to passing in January 2005 – a year and a half after the original grade was posted.

    Oh well...

    Good luck against Oklahoma State.

How does telling the truth make me a douche?

I didn't tell him to cheat and force his team to forfeit a state championship.

If calling me names makes you feel better about your basketball program, I guess that's OK. Whatever gets you through the night...

Nice game against Oklahoma State by the way. So close!

I think he has reached that level. Better to ignore and the troll will leave.

Hey, maybe one day you can go back to trolling UT threads. Could be a while though.

Well, at least you're competitive with Baylor!

Actually, yeah, we just blew Texas out a few nights ago.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Chinemelu Elonu and Bryan Davis scored 15 points apiece to lead Texas A&M to an 81-66 win over Texas on Monday night ...

    Maybe you missed that game?

It doesn't matter. We respect Texas. They belong in the Big 12.

    Baylor?

    Not so much!

    But seriously...

Good luck the rest of the way. I'll check back from time to time, but you are right, this isn't worth talking about anymore.

    Adios!

Oh, I know YOU respect UT. Problem is....I'm not sure they respect you so much.

    Ouch.

It's a shame. We have such great talent, but as a team, something is off this year.

The Aggies won tonight on ESPN. Last second buzzer beater. Maybe you saw it? It was on national TV...

How did the Iowa State game go?

    Someone said "ouch", right?

I won't say that I am pulling for you, because we all know that would not be the truth, but I will say that I hope you lose the rest of the games you play forever and until the end of time.

But that's not polite of me.

    So...

    Good luck against Colorado.

They are by far the worst team in the Big 12!

    One more thing...

I'm not going to post on your thread anymore. You're having a tough enough time as it is, and rubbing salt in the wound is childish. A few of you seem like decent folks. I need to let it go now.

Good luck the rest of the way!

I don't know how it's gonna look next season, but if Drew shows he can't coach these guys into playing good fundamentals, how many seasons do you guys think it'll take for him to get canned? He's done a bunch for the program, and until this season has pretty much improved it year after year.

Wow ... I couldn't believe it when I saw the score from your game tonight. Baylor might just be the most disappointing team in the country this year. Completely unexpected as I really believed Baylor would at least win an NCAA game this year.

You guys might be on the way to the CBI if they don't pull it out against Texas.

I'm not sure how long Drew can continue to pull recruits like he is if he doesn't start winning and soon.
