    Crap, I was going to post that one, too, but forgot. I was talking on the phone a while ago with a friend and trying to figure out what the deal is with free food tomorrow. All we could figure out was it was National Tortilla Chip Day... hmmm... :confused:

    On a related note, Jack's new Taco Nachos have to be just about the most half-assed "new menu item" I've ever seen. Basically, they just throw two tacos into a paper bowl, and douse them in nacho cheese and jalepenos.

    Man, Taco Nachos was probably something one of the JintheB execs did when they were a stoned college student. With the possibility of getting laid off, he dug deep into the well to save his ass with a new menu item that would basically cost them a nickel more yet let them charge way more for the 2 tacos.

    So as disappointing as it me be for the consumer, it's a pretty genius move.

    I am out of luck here. I called the two Quizno's within 5 miles of my place and they both said they won't accept the coupon. So it's pretty much useless to me.

    I don't know if JIB free tacos are any better, but there is no point in driving ten miles to a place just to get a couple of tacos worth $1, and even then they may tell you they are not participating.
