...so you're saying that the rockets should wait on him....again....Can't anyone just settle down and look at the road ahead?

i know what u mean but no one has to wait for him. this team has enough talent to win games this season and next season. since t-mac's gonna be out for 6-12 months, he's not gonna be in the team's way. after he returns, we'll see what happens from there. he's gonna be an expiring contract anyway so let's see what's left in his tank.

    Interesting discussion.
First of all, I smell Tracy's agent here.
The second, Les said Tracy is still a superstar because he is the guy paying. Tracy is a superstar moneywise, but Les knows stock could drop like today's wall street, so what else he can say?
The third, Tracy will come back. He then will get traded if he plays good (less money loss in this case); Retire otherwise(Les hates to see this). He will not be a Rockets in either case.
Finally, Tracy is going to have surgery. Give him a break and best wishes.

Astro, I have a feeling that you are also hoping that the Texans could somehow get David Carr back as our qb.

Seriously give it up already your TMac will not play in Houston. The surgery is a serious one with a least one year to heal. You don't give him any more chances he has had his way and the team has bend over for him to make him happy. I can't wait to see this team prove all doubters wrong. Good Luck following TMac with his new team next season.

I'll take Mcgrady back off the bench and lower pay so we can get another all star and finally win a championship sounds good huh?

The problem is that the chance of Mcgrady backing off the bench and lower pay equals 0

So, Utah wasn't doubling Yao on every touch? How many times have you seen Yao played straight up in the last 5 years? Maybe a handful of times? Utah is certainly not a team that will ever play Yao one on one.

Yao averages 25/10 and he's a no show because the defender is weak? How do you explain Utah holding Duncan to 21.8 pts and 9.6 reb in the Western Conference Finals a couple of series later? Boozer is way below average defensively. Maybe it was Utah's defensive scheme and team defense?

You can spin it how ever you like, but Yao had a good series vs Utah. McGrady also played well but his shooting was a Raeferesque 39%. That's not good no matter who's playing you. If you're going to factor in who they are playing against then Yao's rebounding was phenominal considering that he was guarding either Okur or Boozer and they spent a larger portion of the time on the perimeter.

The fact of the matter is Utah set out to limit McGrady and Yao and they did a pretty good job of that and the supporting cast couldn't make them pay for paying so much attention to those two. Both guys did well considering the extra attention that they were getting from the Utah defense. To say that Yao didn't show up is a joke.

.....what? we all know that a healthy tmac makes this team better. tmac's an all star when he's completely healthy for sure. the problem is.. he's not. you said it in the beginning. even IF he is 75 percent.. so i dont know what you are talking about. btw he's having the surgery. what kinda espn reports are you reading...

give the guy another chance, everyone deserves a second chance. all this bullsh!t about Tmac being a cancer pisses me off. how could he defend, if he was hurting? get over it, he had a bad season because he was hurt. i bet if you had his wear and tear throughout all those years and went through surgery, you'd have problems too. all we can do is hope that he comes back healthy next year and if he doesn't, people should remember him for what he has accomplished, not what he couldn't have accomplished. seriously, people theses days have no compassion. i know it's frustrating to watch, but it's not like he doesn't want to be out there with his team. he knows this is the best chance he had and if artest leaves next year, he'll regret it. cut the guy some slack.

Tracy's problem is not hes healthy or not, semi or 75%.
He is not worthy of being discussed.
Guess who really hate him? Les

When TMac plays, healthy or not, the ball doesn't move. The other players on the court need the ball to move in order for this team to be successful.

Exactly. .. . . TMac has never been a part of the Motion Offense.
    Even when he was healthy

    Rocket River
    he just doesn't fit
    and
the wins he had were inspite of this. . .
