Anybody saw the ESPN quote on Michael Jordan (who was at the game) about Artest last night? Something about how he would loved to have played against Artest in 96 and that Artest always brings it every night. I can't find the quote at all except when they show the recap on ESPN. Maybe MJ will target Artest in the offseason...
why not? camera or no camera on him, talking to ur teammates is always good, TMAC NEVER TALKED OR SHARED HIS OPENION with anybody on the court.
Quality posts. That's what you need. The count doesn't matter. What matters is if Clutch likes what he reads. Good luck! And contribute to the site. That helps.
There's no real logic at play here, I'll assure you! I happen to not be able to forgive the guy for going into the stands or laughing at a clearly injured teammate. It's hard to get past things like this, well, it is for me. Ron Artest is in the same boat as a few other guys I just "don't like". It's sort of the same thing as the enormous grudge we all have against he Utah Jazz. I have that same thing against individual players. Artest, Iverson, Kobe are among those I really cannot bring myself to like. It has nothing to do with their respective ability, I just don't like 'em. Again, no real logic, just personal taste. The thing is though, since Ron's on my team...I wish him well. It's just hard for me to enjoy watching him in red
You know you are mistaken here right? I've seen it plenty of times where he'll talk to a teammate and at least seems to be giving them pointers/advice, sometimes seeming to scold them sometimes. Actually I see him do that scolding more than the other times, reminds me of when Kobe does it to his teammates. Not saying Tracy was good at it or that he was being a leader, hahah. Just saying he did.
Yup, MJ said Ron "ALWAYS GIVES HIS ALL". Ron's deficiencies are most certainly not, in the effort department.
Are you serious... please tell me you are not serious. PLEASE tell me you are actually sane and do not think this.
Republic, if you actually read your posts in this thread and ppl's replies, you'd find out that either 1) everybody on this board is insane and idiotic; or 2) you are delusional in thinking you know the slightest bit about basketball... And quit hating on Ron before he comes to your house and kick your ass
It seems like Yao has a great relationship with everybody on the Houston Rockets, not sure about Brooks though. However, it seems like Yao and Artest and Yao and T-Mac get along. Artest and T-Mac is the one with no chemistry though. T-Mac needs to go in my opinion. If Morey gets offered a veteran player in the off-season he needs to just take it and get rid of McGrady. I am sick of his lack of motivation and lack of effort. It's time this franchise moves on beyond McGrady-Yao and let the Artest-Yao ERA start.
Following your own logic, if both Artest and McGrady are problems, why are you willing to part with one and keep the other? Yao is so passive that he'd get along with anyone, and that isn't necessarily a negative.
