Although his dunks are impressive, he just doesn't make them look that good.

I may stand alone on this but it seems like he's missing that edge that a VC, Lebron, or a Dwight have as dunkers.

    Dude.

He is doing freaking windmills behind the freethrow line.
He is doing freaking between the legs behind the freethrow line.

He can do what Julius and Michael did, but about 15 inches further back.

That first slow-mo dunk in the thread, is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.....

So why is he stuck in the NBDL, and not even collecting splinters on the bench of some NBA team? Is he mentally challenged like Gerald Green?

Judging from the video, I am willing to bet that he can take a quarter off the top of the backboard.

Don't get me wrong, his dunks are ridiculous and no one can match them.

I am impressed with the dunk, but not so much the way he makes it look.

But yea, the between the legs from the free throw line is just insane.

The nba dunk contest needs this guy in it. If the nba allstar weekend brings wnba and retired nba scrubs in to do the 'shooting stars' bs, they can have an all encompassing dunk contest.

I want to be James White's agent. I'd get him into the contest and at the same time have him come out with some vertical leaping product like jumps soles and reap the $$. If he were also more creative, he'd out dunk anybody including lebron. Remember, Dwight howard is 7'0. This guy is what, 6'6?

I agree there should be some fan contest and the winner goes to the AllStar game and represents us couch potatoes. I think his size is an advantage vs lebron and dwight. less weight to try and throw around. Kinda reminds me of Clyde.

    Not quite.

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nh6Dho5J0_I&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nh6Dho5J0_I&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And while I don't doubt that James has achieved "chin level" height on a dunk, that one video doesn't show it. More like eye level if you look closely.
