Okay, they've won a fair share of their previous games albeit at home. Considering that Phoenix is imploding and without Stoudemire, seems like Utah is poised to make the playoffs.
yahoo saying that Boozer may play tonight against the hawks...I am sure it would be limited minutes if anything but if he comes back at full strength then the jazz will be a tough team
I think Phoenix is the most likely to miss out, and Denver is the second most likely. The Nuggets looked like they were going to take a top 3 seed, but now they're banged up and looked pretty bad the past few games. I wouldn't be surprised to see them with a 5 game losing streak (Celtics, Hawks, and Lakers up next) and at #8 or #9 by the end of the week. Utah will trudge along and grab the #7 or #8 seed.
As long as they don't make a run and end up with us at 4 and 5. I am so sick of playing them in the playoffs.
I doubt they'll be there. Lakers and Spurs will get out of the 1st round for sure. I think the other two second round teams will come from Denver, NO, and Houston.
I don't know about you but I would kill myself I we lost to the Jazz again. I'd rather lose to another team if we lose. Yeah so what I am a p***y.
Haha, for some reason this made me laugh. Scribo, you really think the Nuggets are gonna drop out of the top 8, let alone the top 4?? They've played just as dominant as any other team not named the Lakers since their trade, and I'm wondering if this injury is really gonna stop them that badly. I can see them coming down to Earth a little bit, and maybe settling in with around the same record as us, maybe even a game or two back of us, but all the way down with Utah, Phoenix, and Dallas?? That's a heck of a fall.
Damn I hate this The jazz could end up having a 1 loss Feb. They're probably going to beat ATL considering theyre up 10 with 3 minutes to go in the first and ATL is coughing the ball up They catch Minnesota on a back to back albeit at home and Return home for the Sacramento Monarchs before the end of this month, the Jazz are poised to make a run.
Jazz are going to win their division and will be a top 4 seed in the playoffs. They are really playing well right now when compare with the first 3 months of this season and they get healthy.
1.lakers (the best team in the league without a doubt but hope the spurs beat them in march) 2.spurs ( there my team but got some tough games in march luckily none of them are back to back) 3.nuggets ( i just want to beat this team again in the playoffs and evertime we beat them it seems like we win the title that year) 4.Rockets ( just because i like yall and want yall to have homecourt advantage so i don't have to hear woo! everytime cp3 makes a basket ) 5.Hornets( sorry rockets with a a healthy tyson chandler yall getting past the 1st round may not be this year) 6.Mavs ( I just hope these guys get swept seriously) 7.Trailblazers (good talent but unexpirenced may take the spurs 6 games but we'll go to the second round once again) 8.Utah Jazz(upset? i think they might be the best team to do it they almost did it last year and if they do upset and rockets advance yall can have yalls date with jazz once again rocket fans)
They have a very strong bench and most of those guys benefited from more playing time with all the injuries this season. Knight - a true PG with tons of experience as a starter Korver - one of the purest shooters in the league Kirilenko - a multi-dimensional SF that could be starting on just about any team, including the Jazz Harpring - a gritty, experienced SF Millsap - super backup PF They also have a few serviceable backup Cs in Collins, Koufos and Fesenko if they want to use them.
If the Jazz catch fire, no way they finish 8th. They will blow past Denver and Portland to win their division and be seeded 3rd or 4th.
I think the Jazz will win their division. They are just playing really great and not to mention that they have the easiest schedule remaining for the year. 12 are against playoff teams and 13 are against teams that are not in the playoffs as of right now. And out of those 12 playoff teams, they play Miami and Atlanta which might as well not be playoff teams. There are three great things about their schedule though that could hurt them. One is that 9 of the games against playoff teams are on the road. Out of their 25 games remaining, 15 are on the road including a 5 game roadtrip and a 3 game road trip. The last great thing is that they have 7 back to backs. This should help us out. Bad part is the we have to play them twice in SLC.
