Best wishes for Tracy. I hope he recovers fully and quickly but like I said before I don't want to see him in a Rockets uniform ever again.

Maybe Tmac will be back in time for the playoffs next year to help us repeat as champs.

    Overly optimistic? oh well...

i don't think it's over. it's over as a star player, but not as an NBA player.

mcdyess has had WORSE knee problems and a more extensive microfracture surgery and he is playing decent.

tmac will be back, but more of a chris webber route.

With CLanton assiting then it's guaranteed that T-Mac's career is over. At elast we can move forward now as we eagerly await Yao's annual devastating leg injury.

Best of luck to him. It's disappointing that it didn't work out for him. He's going to have to learn how to adapt his game because it's unlikely he'll ever again be the player he wants to be.

    Exactly.

This wasn't a situation where the doctors said he had to get microfracture surgery it was a situation where he elected to have the surgery because he can't play through the knee pain that others have played through.

He isn't Amare or Chris Webber. If he was half a dozen specialists would not have said he can keep playing on that knee without further injuring it.

I forgot to mention that he still won't recover but that's because of his poor work ethic and not the severity of the surgery.

so patients have a right to elect to have surgery??? doctors have to agree to it you know.

dr. brian cole is one of the best in the world (in both microfracture AND alternatives). if he thought microfracture wasn't necessary and other alternatives that he hadn't tried were better, he would have suggested it. but even he's sticking with microfracture.

Tracy used to be one of my favorite players... I was a fan since his days in Toronto. Now I just don't care, wish we could of moved him for Chauncey + Whoever. Can't believe he made 22+ million this year and he didn't do ****. Hopefully we can get that salary cap exception next season.

Actually what I really want is... for us to get pass the first round to throw it in his face and then even go further into the playoffs. Now that would be a story.
