If Al-Qaeda terrorists are living in caves, how are they going to get this book?

It's just a dog and pony show for Americans.

 They communicate primarily by email and constantly post their videos on the internet to spread them. You really think they don't have access or won't hear about a book? The AQ communications network is extremely sophisticated.

If Dr. Fadl's opinions spread throughout the Muslim world and become accepted, this is a big win for President Bush's policies.

This is actually a couple of years old, and the al Qaeda bosses have already written dismissive rebuttals.

I bet openly agreeing with the obvious truth as told by Dr. Fadl could be bad for one's health in certain parts of world. ;)

I hope its true but this doesn't make me feel so confident.

"The criticisms have emerged from Dr Fadl's cell in Tora prison in southern Cairo, where a sand-coloured perimeter wall is lined with watchtowers, each holding a sentry wielding a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Torture inside Egyptian jails is "widespread and systematic", according to Amnesty International."

The thing is, his treatise is apparently very pro-Taliban, and in favor of military conflict with the USA & Israel. It doesn't sound like it is the USA's agenda writ in an Muslim hand.

Also, he apparently had some conflicts about the scope of Jihad with the al Qaeda leadership before his arrest.
