Love Scola, he sounds like Tony Montana, I want him to shout "Say hello to my little friend!"

yeah he's truly a pro for this team, never complains, does his job, i like him a lot, i think he should be made an un-tradeable, he's only in his 2nd year and i believe he will continue to improve especially his defense. he works hard, wat more do u want, i rather have a player like him who works hard rather than someone who gets paid 21mil and sulk.

The Argentina Slayer will blossom over the next few weeks. I think more people will notice him.

Scola is that player that the opposing teams hate. He does all those little things, like sneaking in for an offensive rebound, taking a charge or hustling to save the ball. Last year, I saw him dive out of bounds to steal the ball, flip it to another player and then hustle down court and finish the break with a basket. IMO, his weakness has been outside shooting and picking up those cheap fouls. As of late, his mid-range jumper has been money and he has even taken it out a little farther on the court. Even when he's not in the game, Scola is always encouraging the players on the court. The best thing about Scola is that he doesn't care about his personal stats, winning the game is his #1 priority.

He was great last night with the open J, we need that big time when teams pack it in on Yao.

I still think him and Landry could work on the recovery time when they flash out above the 3pt line on the ballhandler, their man inevitably rolls to the basket for an easy bucket. That or the coaching staff needs to get another player to switch to Scola/Landry's man.

He's going to step up big in T-Mac's absence.

Also, Dirk did have a genuinely crappy night shooting last night, granted. But Scola's defense has increased by leaps and bounds since last year. The guy's not done improving. That's the wonderful thing about have a high bb iq. You can still continue to learn and improve even if you've peaked physically.

And Scola's the consummate professional. He understands that if he wants to stay out there and contribute he's got to play D and it's pretty obvious he's been working hard to improve his.

He's awesome. I can't believe some people kept arguing to start Hayes over him...
