First team since 1990-1991 Blazers to score 140 or more in three consecutive games. New coach has 'em shining. ANd with no Amare... no Marion... and Shaq running!?! Excerpt: http://www.nba.com/games/20090220/OKCPHX/recap.html
Thanks, I was wondering if that was a record. I was just listening to ESPN but didn't catch what they said. I don't care who they played, that's some serious offense. If I recall correctly, we struggled to score 90 against the Thunder and Clippers this season.
Wow, that's incredibly ironic that Porter was on the last team do it while the Suns likely wouldn't have been able to do it without him leaving.
Let's see if they can do this against a team that's a little better than the Clippers and the Thunders.
If Amare gets traded, he doesn't get poked in the eye (or whatever the hell happened) because he would not have been there. Laughing at you
Would surely have the thought the run & gun Denver Nuggets with Paul Westhead in that same time period would have been the last to score 140 three times in a row. Though that team might have the record for consecutive games giving UP 140 or more. 7 seconds & less ball brought back and all of a sudden Leandro Barbosa emerges awake from the life support machine.
supposedly, the surgery was imminent because he had already had eye damage, and the poke just alerted him to it. so they might have found the damage later on, but this source came from a phoenix suns board, take it with a grain of salt i suppose.
Barbosa has been consistent the last 1.5 months, but this was a breakout game, definetely one of the most exciting players to watch, just amazing speed and great shooting.
If that is the case than it was already decided he wouldn't get traded, since it was fate. So you can't say its gonna happen no matter what, since it was never a option that he was going to get traded.
