AB came to play tonight and say he's the new F'ing PG of the Rockets baby!!! And who says he can't be a starter? Nice start for Lowry with 6 points too.

It's only one game. Wait a couple more games then we will know if it was a good trade or not.

I'm really liking this trade now, one game or not. can't say enough about AB tonight. two big threes in the 4th and a great all around game with a cut to show.

kyle lowry looks to be a decent back up. i like his effort on defense and he showed his ability to get into the lane and draw contact.

i kinda feel like we have this offense/defense combo at the point. it's gonna be really interesting to see some more of the ab/lowry duo as the season progresses. anyways, GREAT WWWWIIIIINNNNN.

Really, no offense, i do agree with you on we need another all star level player to go to the championship, but when was the last time you see Tmac being healthy and motivated? or even just being healthy OR motivated?

i don't hate Tmac, and i know ppl have their limitations, either physically or mentally. I just start to believe that Tmac is not what ppl used to tagged him. The team needs to trade him to be a contender coz his huge contract is holding us back.

I know Rafer was a "true, traditional" point guard, and he ran the team well, he took care of the ball, and made good passes.

However, his biggest weakness was shooting, especially from the 3 point line. He knew, our opponents knew, and yet he was bascially forced to take that shot, because teams will double team Yao most of the time. Now its a different story...

Aaron Brooks starting means we have 3 players who can shoot 3's, and Scola can hit a 20 ft jumper to give Yao the room he needs. If teams front Yao, then they will have to pay, because Brooks, Artest, and Battier can hit 3's when they are open.

Brooks can also cut to the basket and is quick enough to get the ball up before anybody can contest it or block it and Artest will draw fouls cutting to the basket, and if needed, we can go to him to isolate.

Kyle Lowry brings good qualities as well. He is a good defender (Barea was hitting tough shots tonight vs. everybody), a good decision maker, and he can finish a a layup. Rafer was horrible at shooting layups, but now that changes.

There are some positives to this trade...hopefully we can keep playing good basketball.

Morey kept mentioning in the interviews that lowry was a player who "will do what the coach asks", its like he was saying that's what they were lacking rather than just making a general comment. So I guess Adelman had issues with Rafer not always doing what he was told, so even during a win he'd probably be upset that Rafer was still not listening and now feels like his point guards are listening.

you know how coaches are, they always feel their way is best, so win or lose, they'll be upset if you don't listen, and will always be content if you listen, win or lose...

Lakers beat Hornets in OT, close game.

We got Charlotte and then then a game against Portland most likely for a chance to move up. Next week will say something about this team.

I'm excited about the season again :D Thanks Morey and Lowry. I knew Artest's main problem in the first half of the season was his ankle.

Thanks Tmac for being a wuss and given this team a chance, instead of trying to man up and play on a injury...that's just not you Mac.

Scola is very important in this game. He played good defence against Dirk. Aaron is amazing. The last two 3 pointers beat JJ Barea and Mavs!!!Yao dominated this game. But we still have some problem, Especially defence. letting JJ scored too much. And there is a big problem. Everybody knows the ball will be passed to Yao. When Yao facing double team and cannot get the ball,we should immediately pass the ball finding some good positions. GO GO GO ROCKETS!!!

(first post back since my last account vanished into thin air)

I love this team right now. Tons of upside and for the first time in a long time i dont know whats gonna happen in the post season. Risks are necessary when you are trying to win a championship not just a playoff series.

isn't an offensive foul a turnover?
