15 points, 15 rebs, 5-7FG, 5-6FT, 3ast, 2steals. Magnificent. I love Carl but other than dunking and athleticism Scola is the better player.
I would have been pretty pissed if we would have traded Scola. Aside from Battier, he is my other favorite player on this team. He could work on his defense, but overall they guy gives it his all.
The only player I never gotten mad at.. he was a total steal from what he had to give for him and at his contract as well. Awesome player. BTW, did anyone else notice him doing those jumping jacks, pumping up the crowd, before Dirk inbound the ball in the final minutes of the 4th? Scola is freaking awesome.
Those numbers in 33 mins are very good. A +/- of +20 showed he was efficient with every lineup out there.
Scola was Kobe Bryant (the MVP) in Europe Glad to see he's finally coming into his own on the Rockets. Offensively he is as capable as any NBA player.
This season he has been, I don't think he's the most important player though. Yao is, clearly. Scola gets his points and rebounds every night, I'm pretty sure as a realist myself I take what he does for granted.
Scola was definetly man of the match and if RA allows it, he should try some threes when we're up by 20; the guy has serious range and it's showing more and more. Luis is always key to our victories and really outplayed Dirk and showed better Defense than normal. He was relentless on offense and made the most of his shots and stayed within the offense. If he plays like this in the playoffs, we can definetly get to the 2nd round.
It's amazing how hard he plays on every single play. We are very fortunate to have a player like him. He and Landry combine complements Yao very well.
is great. is great. jejejejejeje. who says we need a 3rd scorer when we already have one in scola, just give him the ball a little more and he can average 16
yeah but don't you get the feeling when Yao has the ball in the final 4 mins that something bad is going to happen? (turnover, offensive foul). For some reason I don't get that with Scola.
