I know we had a rough season. But i still think when healthy we have a 45-37 team here in Houston, enough to get us to the playoffs. Now why srew up our chemistry in a trade for Odom or Lewis. Lets keep the team we have now. Draft Woods, try and trade #15 and Kenny Thomas for a top 8 or 9 then draft Stoudemire. i say trade Kenny because i dont think he is a part of our future plans. I also Believe Woods will pan out to be alot better than Rashard or Odom. If we cant trade up with our 15 we give it to Memphis just so West can shut his damn pie hole about the Francis trade. Now we have a line up like this Francis/Moochi Cat/Woods Rice/Tmo Taylor/Griff Cato/ Stoudemire
That starting lineup will not make the playoffs; would probably have trouble winning 30 games. They might win a drinking and dope smoking contest. The word is CHANGE! Change players, system, all of it! I would keep Griffin, Mobley, Torres, and Brown. Two starters and two reserves. That's it. Then Go Fish! All we have to lose is more games, which is going to happen anyway if we stand pat.
Agreed.We defenitely need a veteran who can teach the youngsters,like Willis this (last) season)!Someone who is ready for action when somebody is injured!We want to be the 45-37 team,right???????Then we shouldn't take 2 teens who have to develop during the season!We need help rightnow!I think we need a player who helps us from day 1,not from day 88,after he has his breakthrough game.
