Someone tell Tmac the trade deadline is over with and he can come out of his cave now and get back on the court. This is silly.
From the Blinebury article: I think this is incorrect. Before posting on his Web site, McGrady apparently called the Rocket's trainer to tell him he was "leaning" toward surgery. So it's not completely true to say that he did not contact the team. Granted, it still was an UNBELIEVABLY crappy move on his part. I've been down on Fran Blinebury before but he seems right on this one. McGrady is proving to be really erratic and impulsive in his behavior. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get microfracture surgery in the end.
But our GM and owner LOVE him. I am afraid they may just force the team to accept him again. It's not just about boosting TMac's trade value, they way they talk about TMac (like he's one month rest away from a kobe or james) makes me want to puke.
