    I feel that now was not the time to trade Rafer away, but rather, the offseason. I'm concerned about the team chemistry being disrupted. I think that the team could have jelled with no trades made since they seemed to be playing better with T-Mac on the shelf, unlike three years ago.

    Yeah i'm confused...

    If we didn't even get Lowry...If we only got Cook...Morey should be fired.

    That would mean our PGs are...Head and Brooks?

    Had the hopes something better was going to happen, but at this point I am just going to make a comment after the next couple of games. MoneyBall has not let me down yet, but I am not going to jump up and down tonight.

    TNT probably thought it was a 2 way trade.

    http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-38-210/Kyle-Lowry--Come-on-Down-.html

    You're the next contestant on "See if You Can Stick as the Houston Rockets' Point Guard!"

    It's a good news/bad news game.

    The good news is that the long-term starting job is up for grabs.

    The bad news is that the Rockets -- with All-Stars like Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, and now Ron Artest -- have been in need of a point guard for a decade, and now that Rafer Alston has moved on, it's clear no one has stuck.

    The good news is that you're no longer stuck behind the emerging Mike Conley.

    The bad news is that if you'll have to compete with Aaron Brooks.

    The good news is that you're not alone.

    The bad news is the sheer number of contestants who have moved on. It's a little daunting. A partial list, from recent years:

    * John Lucas
    * Rod Strickland
    * Rick Brunson
    * Rafer Alston
    * David Wesley
    * Charlie Ward
    * Tyronn Lue
    * Brandin Knight
    * Mike James
    * Reece Gaines
    * Andre Barrett
    * Mike Wilks
    * Mark Jackson
    * Tito Maddox
    * Moochie Norris
    * Steve Francis

    Orlando gets a starting point guard from a 55 win team.

    Houston gets a backup point guard from a 22 win team.

    A headscratcher for sure.

    Let's hope Lowry has more to show.

    It was ruined when your max-contract star can't dunk and decides he's done for the season.

    Looking at the list above we've had sucky ass PGs for a while.

    Last decent ones were back in the championship era...can Brooks/Lowry become decent PGs?

    Hmm.. So I just loaded up my 2k9 and the Grizzlies happened to be next on my schedule.
    Memphis won the tip, ball given to Lowry, didn't notice til I was defending him with Alston :(
