    I think it's more that No one wants Luther that's why they can't trade him. I'm pretty sure they try and get rid of him just no takers.

    I was just told they were working on two deals in the final hour but they were doubtful ... I don't think that means they had deals in place, but were negotiating.

    I have not heard of another finalized trade... team is still waiting for approval on this one.

    I seriously hope this trade gets rescinded. It just hurts us so much in the short term, and doesn't make up for it in the long term... Cook is basically a non-factor, a salary weight. Lowry just isn't that good and can't shoot worth a crap either. Alston's threes were inconsistent to say at the least, but he was showing so much upside with the ball in his hands. Dishing, hitting open shots, he was the only one who could run the team. Now we're officially screwed. :mad:

    I have strong feeling we will get Baron Davis. That's the only reason we trade Alston.
