maybe this means we traded T-Fake for B. Davis? otherwise, it doesn't make any sense as their contracts all expires in 2010 and Lowry is not even close to Rafer in helping this team in playoffs this season.

I don't think so, none of the names is on his list of "improvement".

he's ready. but like any pg he's gonna make mistakes, but rafer has had years and years of chances and he's never gonna be better than the medicore point guard he has always been. Brooks atleast has that chance to be something special

I wouldn't be so sure we don't take a look at Lowry as a starter first. That PER is pretty high, and Hollinger just praised him for his defense so we'll see.

Do you guys think Cook will play at the 3 spot since he is good outside shooter? I kinda wonder who is going to be a playmaker now that Alston is gone and TMac is out for the season... I expect our turnovers to go up... Now Yao needs to work harder to get the ball...

Brooks is 5-1 as a starter for a .833 winning percentage, he out played both CP3 and D. Harris during that stretch.

The only loss was to the Spurs and Brooks had led them to a 10 point lead with 4 minutes to go when Tmac came in and took over and led us to a loss.

Then when Rafer was out, Brooks went 4-0 and the team averaged 109.5ppg.

This also clears the deck of any other leaders, this is Yao's team now....

I am VERY excited for Aaron, he is ready.

I'm both excited and scared. He's just become the second most important player on the team.

How is he ever gonna be ready if we don't give him the chance? I think he is ready, though, and if he makes some mistakes along the way I'm willing to live with it. In the long run it will pay off.

Which is what i've said for awhile. The rox now have 2 young pg who can penetrate and dish, plus cook is the type of dude the rox need with yao, a floor stretcher. The spurs play with Matt bonner at the 4 and its not a problem. This current group wasnt going to win a ring, so might as well give the young guys a chance to get better. They shouldve made the move this summer.

If Brooks struggles the Rockets can pick up Bibby in the offseason or bring back VSpan.

    ;)

I think they know you are reading my stuff.

No, I don't see anything promising from Brooks that he could take the load yet, at least not on a daily basis..
