Assuming this trade gets approved and goes through as is (Rafer for Cook and Lowry) and nothing else happens is this a good trade? Yes or No?? and why
...still waiting for the rest of the trade...the other one.....seems like there should be another....
No, if nothing else goes down. Why trade your starting PG. Your basically telling your 2nd year player, ok lead us to the playoffs? Maybe they wanted to get rid of Rafers contract, but I dont think anything else is going down for us.
I mean its a good trade but you can't really say until we play. On paper you'll say its a horrible trade but we won't know. The only reason I say is a bad trade is because now we have 2 small point guards in the West. But the good thing about them is that they are both lightning quick
This is a good trade, Rafer and the gang never got us beyond the 1st round. Let's try something new. I'm surprised, because Orlando now has 3 PG's (Rafer, Anthony Johnson, and Tyronne Lue). Not that smart by them. Yes Rafer runs the offense, but we groan everytime he shoots an airball or tries that floater that never goes in. We drafted AB for reason, let's see if Rick knows what he's doing.
if this is the only trade..it makes no sense... the only trade we make would be to DOWNgrade the only position we are weak in...there has got to be more to this
I don't think so...as much hate as Rafer got on this board he was able to step up when he needed to (like during the 22 game win streak last year after we lost Yao)...always seemed willing to take the shots T-mac was scared to take.
We gave up a starter who knows our offense for Brian Cook, who is a scrub and Lowrey, well he's decent, he shoots poorly, and wait, is Lowrey even a point guard? I thought he was a 2?
