People that think Cook is solid hasn't watched him play at all. Trust me, I'm in LA, and I've seen this guy play for many years. The best thing Lakers did was trade his butt for Ariza.
I'm in the minority here, but I always liked KL. At the very least, we have much more athleticism at the PG spot. I'm still stumped why we did not get a pick out of this deal. I mean, Orlando was a desperate team for a PG.
THIS SUCKS RAFER WAS ARE ONLY LEADER HE WASNT SCARED OF CALLING OUT PLAYERS THAT WERE SLACKING GOOD LUCK RAFE THOSE LOBS TO D.HOWARD ARE GONNA BE NASTY
This feels so much like last year it's unreal. When we acquired Bobby Jackson, everyone thought it meant that we HAD to acquiring Mike Miller.....well, we didn't get Miller, but we waited til the offseason, and got Artest instead. This might be one of those situations. Lowry is a young player with a decent upside who other teams might have interest in, but not right now.
That would be sweet.. But seriously if there is nothing more to this, it's pretty lame.. I would have at least wanted the draft pick and not 2 scrubs... FFS i'm disappointed.
with cook, i think they made landry expendable. landry gets packed up with artest for a starter PG to replace rafer. maybe head and/or barry to match salaries. i'm actually gonna miss rafer.
Even more puzzling! His and Tracy's value would've been much higher this offseason or next year before the deadline.
Hey, at least Scola, Landry and Brooks weren't moved. I'm happy for Aaron Brooks for being our starting PG.
What I do want to see is how BC will be utilized. If this trade is for sure, we now have our highest percent three point shooter. A PF at that.
It's not Baron Davis. Old, always injured, style doesn't fit and no way in hell with his massive contract. Think of somebody else.
Im fine with the trade. Lets see what AB can do as a starter. No more random 3's from Alston. It will be interesting to see how they play defense with AB as the starter most likely. Let see what these guys can do.
