Kind of odd. Wouldn't we have to waive a player for this deal to go through?

Unless something else is going to happen?

Good and bad trade, ab and kyle will pick up the pace to more of a running style thats the positive also ab is a better shooter. The bad, Rafer made this team go was very underrate player. Was tough and played great D. Its kinda funny how much better the rockets looked when the ball was in rafers hands with tmac out. Compared to tracy handling it all the time..

Absolutely, are you kidding, it's time for Brooks to start already and I'm ecstatic about this trade. Don't forget Barry can log in minutes at the point as well... Although there will have to be more players coming back to Houston for this trade to work, I like that we're finally turning the page on our tired backcourt.

See, this is why you can't take all these sportswriters columns and blogs too seriously. Where was Marc Stein and Chris Broussard with all their sources on the Magic and Rockets talking? lol

It seems Baron Davis is coming for Tmac. Otherwise there is no reason we send Rafer away.

Just remember, people were pissed when Bonzi got sold to New Orleans too. But it worked out right?

I'm pretty convinced we're not getting another PG. But look at the PER's of the two guards:

    Rafer: 12.9
    Lowry: 14.4

There is always a method to the madness my friends:

    Here's Hollinger's comment just now:

Doesn't Cook have a player option for next year? If so, there's not a chance in hell he doesn't take it.

I hate to say it, but this trade feels like it's in the same ballpark as those.

But if Morey pulled the trigger, I'm guessing he'll prove me wrong.
