Vegas is getting hit VERY HARD by the recession. Go look up the stock of MGM, Wynn, and Las Vegas sands. MGM stock was at $100 last year, its like $5 now. They had to sell off Treasure Island to another investor to get more cash. People are getting laid off left and right plus its the worst foreclosure place in America. Plus I've been bombarded with comp rooms, they NEVER send me free room offers, only discounts. Plus Kevin Johnson said during the NBA allstar legends brunch that his top goal is to get Sacramento a new stadium. Going back to Cali is a song by LL Cool J. From New York.
I think Doc is trying to tell us that T-Mac's getting traded, and we're getting Captain Jack with fillers (maybe Maggette and Turiaf since GSW overpaid). He used a "jake" a lot in addition to referencing cali. Clutch, if I'm right can I have member status back??
And some claim hip-hop started out in the QB... LL is from the QB area... Pop in a cassette 'n' push play...
Count me in to. I will play ding dong the witch is dead from the Wizard of Oz IF TMac is traded or what would an appropriate song?? Anyone have any suggestions?
OK, I broke the code, we are trading Mac for ... Jake Tsakalkidis and VSpan! The whole deal is being brokered by the Niko Niko people. Two Jakes for One!
In all seriousness, this move by Tmac is gonna hurt us more than anything. The purpose of Tmac going public instead of telling the management first is to stop and prevent any possible trade involving him. Now GMs around the league will look at Tmac's value second time and it prevent Morey to get anything valuable for Tmac. This means no more VC for tmac or Baron trade. if any we will be given a leg and arm for it. There shouldn't be any excuse too, because tmac is no stranger to injuries and he has done it many times. so he definately know the protcol, which is why AD and morey are upset. Les publically said he is not trading Tmac is quite the opposite just a chess move in order to bump up his value and tmac knows it. Now by reading the reactions from players, specially from Battier. it seems that there was some thing going on.
McGreedy is going to go get his knee hacked up, and he won't touch the court again until the 2010 season.... no way we let him "play his way onto the court" after the ASB next season with the playoffs looming. So basically you're going to have a 31 year old swingman, 12 year veteran or some crap, with a bad back, shoulder, and coming off major knee surgery who hasnt played at a high level in over 2 years trying to get a major contract in the 2010 FA market? Fat chance. The Rockets, meanwhile, can lock his ass out of the building and go full speed ahead. Sure we lose 22 million bucks, but its addition by subtraction getting him off the court and out of the lockerroom.
Didn't Doc Rocket post a couple of weeks back about food and stuff like that, going to a could place bla bla bla "And now I return to where I was (or something like that)", anyways, I don't remember that coded message happening...
I still don't understand how McGrady is having this surgery. Are we ever going to hear who the doctor is that is giving him this advice? How can he go against the organization, all of the team doctors, and 2 world-renowned ortho surgeons? Isn't this some sort of contract violation? Has something like this ever happened before?
there may be a positive to all this Baron davis talk. It seems like the Nets are losing ground with the Carter talk so maybe they will take Mac's contract and landry for Carter and Boone
