Off the bat I'll say DJ is my boy and so I'm gonna be partial to him BUT Mihm overreacted like a MF. Mihm's been in the league for how many years, you wanna tell me no other posing centers moved the ball above his head with elbows flailing like that-in practice or a game? Mihm acted like a lil girl overreacting to that and if he wanted to take it further, DJ woulda beat the snot out of him and I mean that in all seriousness. DJ is a black belt in Taekwondo and one of the strongest dudes I've ever met in any sport. The only thing about DJ is he's such a nice guy, I don't think he even wanted to go at Mihm and was shocked Mihm went at him. DJ rarely gets PO'd but when he does I wouldn't want to be on the other side.

You may not know he and Deke are close friends and practice often in the offseason so he has a bit of knowledge about Deke's elbows.

    1. The elbows were intentional, and were on the path to go into Mihms face. You realise that if Mihm was hit he could sue, right?
    2. If by acting like a girl you mean blocking his shot and pushing him a bit, then okay, pretty much all post defenders are 'lil girls'
    3. Black belt in Taekwondo is a joke, its pretty much a belt in exchange for cash.
    4. Taekwondo is a joke.
    5. He went at Mihm, therefore unless hes a ****ing puppet, hes did want to go at Mihm.
    6. He was shocked at Mihm pushing him? Who's the 'lil girl' now.

Now how about you tell your 'boy' to grow up and be a professional.

Well it's obvious you're being bias because he's your boy.

You say Mihm overreacted, yet he's the one that got elbowed and all he did was softly push DJ who really overreacts by trying to go at Mihm's for a good 30 seconds.

I hear you, I get your point. I'll say they both overreacted then. They both acted like little girls.

Wow really, they were intentional, you know that for a fact? He could sue like all those who've been hit by the famous "Deke bows" right?
    2. If by acting like a girl you mean blocking his shot and pushing him a bit, then okay, pretty much all post defenders are 'lil girls'
Nah, just Chris Mihm. But like I stated to Shaud, they both acted like little girls. It was much ado about nothing imho.
    3. Black belt in Taekwondo is a joke, its pretty much a belt in exchange for cash.
Really, that doesn't happen in any other form of martial arts? Rrright.
Anyway, I'd pick DJ in a scrap between those two not just because he's a black belt but because I know he can actually fight. Maybe Chris Mihm can as well I dunno, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

    4. Taekwondo is a joke.
Not the only reason I'd pick DJ in a fight w/ Chris Mihm or most NBA players.
    5. He went at Mihm, therefore unless hes a ****ing puppet, hes did want to go at Mihm.
Maybe I'm getting slower as I get older but I don't really understand the above statement. You gotta explain it to me and go easy, like I said I'm not that SMRT. :)
    6. He was shocked at Mihm pushing him? Who's the 'lil girl' now.
I believe he was shocked Mihm took offense to a bit of rough play but as stated, they both overreacted to each other like little girls.

Now how about you tell your 'boy' to grow up and be a professional.
Yeah that's a pretty silly statement. He's not a professional because during practice he "unintentionally"(my opinion) elbowed Mihm and took offense to Mihm acting like it was intentional? Okay. Dude you could go to just about every NBA team(bar the Mavs cos they are all little girls) practices and you'd see a bit of rough play. Maybe not every practice but at least a couple times a season and sometimes from veterans you think are the classiest dudes in the game. It doesn't mean they aren't professional. if you want to tell someone to grow up and be a professional then feel free to tell this guy..

    That's funny.

Maybe I'm an idgit but I woulda actually preferred DJ to have been traded so he could get the PT w/ the Grizzlies.

I think it's a good move for Mihm though. Just looked at the Grizz roster and I noticed Greg Buckner is on the team. I thought the dude was out of the league by now. funny stuff.

Yeah they both did, but I bet those type of things happen in a lot of practices we just don't see or hear about it especially since it wasn't really a fight.

Well poor Mihm, traded from Lakers to the Grizzlies. :D

Man, thats exactly what I'm saying. That kind of ish happens more often than we hear about.

No need to hate on the Grizzlies dude, they'll be in the playoffs again in 5 years.
Haddadi and Darko on the front line, they won't be stopped. :D

the Grizz have beat the rockets twice this season in a humiliating manner :)

Ironic that Mihm is gone after a fight like this.
