Seriously, if you pay 20M a year to somebody to play and the dude just pockets all greens and tell the media, without discussing with you first, he is injured and out, despite all doctors, used all instruments invented by human being, can't find anything wrong with the dude.

    What are you gonna do?

There got be some kind of law to regulate this kind of bank robbing, Madoff behavior. Geeze, I am beyond angry right now. No matter how many contracts Les got from Chinese, 22M a year is 22M a year!

I believe there are situations where if a player is physically unable to play, you can recoup the money or some of it.

Isn't that what would have happened if Darius Miles wasn't able to play a certain number of games this season?

Either way, I am sure the Rockets will do whatever they can to limit the damage.

At least McGrady made an attempt to play this season. Look at the Sixers and the Wiz. How do you expect they feel?

I understand there is injury insurance like BB mentioned however what I really want is to get the money back OUT from Tmac's pockets.
You can't just claim injury like play a game here.

OMG that blonde is smoking hot!!!

I doubt there is much the team can do but there must be something protecting owners from players who use fake medical reasons to quit.

Les would rather have his money on the court rather than from the court.

Sorry dude, but McGrady hasn't done anything to warrant a lawsuit or breach of contract of any sort. You're going overboard.

I hope the Rockets can sue his ass. Just think about if you go to your job everyday and just say: "well, I'm not feeling very good today so I will be here tomorrow but not on Friday" or "I will do some work at home" and then come in and you haven't got the job done. YOU WOULD GET FIRED, THAT'S WHAT !!!

This guy is getting away with so much ****, it's unbelievable and not fair. Think about the God given talent he's been blessed with and the opportunities he's been given. He never had to work hard like most people do to make money like he does and to get the opportunities he has had in his life. He's a disgraceful human being and only thinks about himself. Selfish b*stard !!!

Just think about all the poor people in the world, who have to work maybe 20,30,40 or even 70+ years just to get 1/10 or 1/100 of the amount of money Tracy gets for playing one single game of Basketball !!!! This guy has never put in work to reach his full potential. I should not let emotions get to me and feel sorry for Tracy, because it's really sad but I'm just mad right now. We could've had 2/3 players instead of this guy and maybe a much better record, a real chance of getting a Championship. In fact, the last few years with his kind of salary we could've already put a great team together to be contenders for years. This guy has held the whole organisation back and though he's not the only one responsible, he should feel really bad about himself.

Take his $$$ away and then see what he's worth, than we will maybe witness the real Tracy Mcgrady because I sure as hell can't figure out what type of person this guy is right now with all the lies he tells and how hypocritical he is.

I'm done with this guy, the Rockets should maybe not even bother but what they should do is tell him he cannot be part of this team anymore. That's for damn sure. Tracy should never be able to put on a Rockets uniform again in his life.

Yea, I don't think you can sue him for not wanting to work. If the Rockets were smart, they would have included several clauses in the contract regarding his health and the number of games he played each year. I am sure they aren't going to give him the full 21 million or whatever. The fine print just doesn't make news. If he does get all of his money, then that is on the Rockets.

good question.. can that be written into contract? i doubt any player would sign it though.. if you are injured the majority of the season or if you miss so and so amount of games you would have to give some of my $$$ back
