Simple Poll. What do you believe? Is Tracie bluffing or is this for real? Two choices -- 1. You believe that Tracie is bluffing to kill a trade and ultimately will "reevaluate" and conveniently say he won't have surgery. Or 2. You think she'll actually do it. This is no small matter -- microfracture surgery. You don't do it unless you have to. Not even if you are Tracie.
The Feigen article said that they used a new more detailed machine in Chicago and that he needs it, I think he does it. DD
If he/she doesn't do it. He/she will be absolutely destroyed by the media and fans. So, I think he/she will succumb to peer pressure.
Doesn't matter He should be sitting out the rest of the year anyways. The guys that go out there and battle it out every night deserve a hell of a lot better than this. If he doesn't want to get surgery, then he can rehab the rest of the season. At this point, I don't want him on the court anymore this year.
The level of hate people have for McGrady is dispicable....you guys act like the guy murdered your family or raped your daughters. I love the Rockets as much and am frustrated with the string of bad luck we seem to have but the low blow immature name calling and pure hatred for another human being you guys display is really sad.
OK, so then what happens after that? Do the Rockets make the decision to shut him down? Maybe he decides to shut himself down and try to get ready for next season? Or he comes back and plays (and Rockets allow him to)?
It's a bluff but I don't think it is all about killing a trade. I think the guy mailed it in a long time ago and figured he could find a doctor who would back him up. So far I have not heard one doctor give him the excuse he wants so he cries "microfracture" to kill the criticism. He won't get surgery. He just doesn't have the desire to play anymore. He's like the kid who wants to skip school so bad he keeps telling his mom he is sick and the longer he fakes it the more ridiculous his "illness" becomes. That's McGrady. He is 100% dedicated to quitting this season and the whole situation has taken on a life of it's own. I doubt Tracy even has the perspective to realize how ridiculous he looks to everyone. He's the laughing stock of professional sports.
Definite fact to consider. DD - I'm curious, how did you vote? I think Tracie won't have the surgery.
