Then we get swept 0-4 in the second round?

We would be celebrating. and i do believe Tmac would be happy too. I doubt Tmac is a bad person ( as people would like to paint him) and wish the rockets would flame out just because he's not playing. if he hated this team, he woulve asked for a trade a long time ago.

Tmac is just pain to watch. I believe this team will do great from now on.

Tracy screwed around in the offseason instead of getting this taken care of when he should have.

This should have been taken care of the DAY after Yao went down with his foot fracture....

That being said, get well McGrady, and good luck with your new team.

I thought it took a freakin year to recover from microfracture surgery, meaning he'll be nursing it most or all of next season???

Well, I can't say it is bad news...

It was painful to watch McGrady this season. A guy who used to scored 32 ppg, who scored 13 points in 35 seconds, who could do simply EVERYTHING on the basketball floor, was averaging 15,9 ppg shooting 39%... It is easy to guess something is wrong with him...

He really wasn't himself this season and he was not helping this team. For me, as a T-Mac fan it was tough to watch him play.

Of course it is dissapointing. Last season Yao went down which ended our big hopes for the postseason success. This year, with Artest we were probably 2 or 3rd best team in the NBA, without a doubt. Well, at least we should have been.

It is dissapointing, because once again our main guy goes down and finishes this freaking season.

But for him? It was the best decision. Take your time, go throughout the surgery and rehab and do your best to come back. We all know T-Mac is still one of the best when he is HEALTHLY (always have been a problem). So sit, go under the knife and do come back to yourself next season.

As A Smith said. T-Mac will be a big name in the 2010 offseason, so now he needs to take care of himself. He needs to do what is the best for him to come back healthly, because last offseason's surgery didn't help.

I want to see this guy play well and it is dissapointing, but he is gonna be great when healthly and hopefully this surgery will allow him to do that.

I never thought that he was faking. Rox fans just hate T-Mac for some reason. Why would a guy who's played so well in a career and tried so hard to win fake an injury.

No one wanted to see Mcrady undergo microfracture surgery, everyone wanted to see McGrady be the star he had been and elevate us to contenders.

I wouldn't wish microfracture surgery on anyone, especially not a Rocket. With McGrady this almost certainly ends his career for all intents and purposes.

I'm sad to hear it, and wish him the best possible outcome.

What else is new...hope it's true. If not, then he must be traded because I cannot stand to see one more game where Tracy stands around, walking around, making the team worse with his terrible play and affecting the whole team with his nonsense. This might be the best news this year regarding the whole injury situation. :)

I hope the surgery is going to happen soon. Within this week or something. If he delays it all the way to summer, then something's wrong. Get the surgery done now, and best of luck on the recovery.

Now the Rockets just have to focus on themselves, get McGrady out of their heads, if he's out for sure.

T-Mac in the past years you have done a hell of a job leading this team, but right now this team needs to play without you, Best wishes to you and I hope you comeback next season.

I don't hate you like all the others :D

So the infamous missed dunk, possibly, will be his final game in a Rockets uniform. Wow. Just wow.

Wouldn't it be comical if the Rockets made the playoffs and made it out of the first round.

What are you talking about? Nothing I said about him was incorrect, and it was all based upon what the doctors were saying.

Let's wait to hear what they are saying now, to me it looks like there are 2 diagnosis, one to rehab the knee (which he still hasn't officially done) and 2, microfracture.

IMHO, it is up to Tmac....

Would it be possible to buy him out?

Or is it better to trade his expiring next year?

Morey just said on his interview on 610, that the Rockets still are hoping to get TMac back...THIS YEAR !!!

Sounds like the old Microfracture news might be true, or some more Tmac induced drama.

Kind of funny the Rockets organization has no comment. Normally when a player goes down it's the team that breaks the news isn't it? In the words of Fez, "Good day Tracey, I say good day."

Can you explain why Tmac who had minor knee and shoulder surgery on May 7, 2008 was not ready to go when training camp starting? Any other superstar with drive and commitment to win a championship would've been ready.
