That means T-Mac will be out for next season too. Many player take at least one season to get back his 80% as we can see in the examples of Stoudamire, Z-Bo, etc...
A potential championship? I doubt there is ever a potential championship for Houston if there is T-Mac here (dominate most of the cap room). Maybe "a second round of playoff goes down the drain" is more practical.
...and the speculation continues... I think Tracy is out regardless of Screamin' A's credibility. I think that we've all known this for awhile.. Still, something isn't right in the entire sequence of all of this.
If McGrady's injury is legit, I feel bad for him. I wouldn't wish injury on anyone. However, I am, in a way, happy to move on with Artest and Yao.
I don't get these comments from Les "I don’t think we’re going to part ways with Tracy," said Alexander. "Everybody wants us to. We acquired a great superstar and everybody wants us to trade the great superstar. You don’t get superstars that often. Maybe he was a great superstar when he was acquired, but he is far from that player now. "Daryl (Morey, the Rockets general manager) and I were talking this morning. We both discussed how great Tracy is in the playoffs. There’s very few people who have the ability to step up their games in the playoffs and he does. So we’re not looking to run away from Tracy." If he thinks 1st round exits are successes, he totally needs to raise his expectation level.
I would ignore Les on the compliments. He's just saying that, but the Rockets seemed pretty involved on getting Tmac out of here. Les saying that is just like how the Suns were saying "We're not getting rid of Porter!" even though it was obvious they were.
Ya'll are pretty tensed up right about now. Ronald Jenkees has advice to relieve some tension. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rUZh84D39B8&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rUZh84D39B8&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Annnnnd instead of just accepting this bombshell, there has to be some added drama to fuel further speculation. This season has taken place in the Twilight Zone.
This is really terrible news for the Rockets and to the fans. Can we get a healthy season from the Rockets? There only a couple of bright spots from this devasting news. Von Wafer can really show his skills and the team can actually build chemistry. I think Tmac had an awful year but, hopefully he can become healthy for next year.
His out of the season is actually good for the Rockets record. But he announces this at this time totally make himself a freak...just try every possible way to avoid being traded.
So let me get this straight. Prior to the All-star break, McGrady said he would play after the break and surgery wasn't even mentioned. Today a trade proposal breaks out involving T-Mac, and now all of a sudden T-Mac says he needs microfrature? what a joke.
I hope Sac decides to tank for 2 years and trade Miller/Salmons for Tmac....I can dream right. Tmac you sissy ****.
You know what? I think it's because the Toyota Center has some Feng Shui problems. Maybe a Fengshui wall should be built in front of the Toyota center gate.
