Alright this is fishy. On SC they said that Stephen A and Tim Legs said that he is out and is to have the surgery. But on nba dot come and chron there is no news of that. False Info anyone?
Well, T-Mac was in NY seeing a specialist while they were playing. It's possible that they didn't find this out until just recently.
ha thanks it's my 1st post but I've been around clutch fans for at least 3 years.. finally Clutch activated my account so I can post now
On one hand, I'm glad to have closure on this situation. Now the Rockets can decide a course of action (whatever it is Morey... I trust you) and move on. On the other hand, I completely appreciate McGrady pushing his body to the limits to try and help this team. A lot of people questioned why he was acting the way he was acting lately... and now we see why. I just hope the surgery goes well and he finds success after, whether it be with the Rockets or not.
I was really upset with his poor play and poor attitude this year. But I wish him the best of luck and hope he come back stronger than ever. Also the whole rockets medical staff need to be fire. How the fock do they misdiagnose the seriousness of the injures two year in a row.
this smells fishy....he told smith this and yet they used a quote from a week ago?? Surely Tmac would have said something in his talk with Smith that they could have used for the report...no quote at all from tmac, just what smith said...
From reading of the article, it just switches Channel 2 to ESPN. What if the Rockets comes out in the morning to refute the story? Then what?
lol more like 1 year.. since I've officially signed up as a member around Feb but yea.. it was a long time
To me, he will change his mind and come back after this Thursday. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3914888 The season has been a major disappointment for Tracy McGrady and the Houston Rockets. It might have just gotten worse. The forward told ESPN.com's Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday that his troublesome left knee will end his season and that he will undergo microfracture surgery. McGrady's name had come up earlier Tuesday in reported trade discussions between the Rockets and New Jersey Nets. The Nets were leery of McGrady's contract and health. The seven-time All-Star had arthroscopic surgery on the knee last May and has been slow to recover. He missed much of Jannuary trying to get the knee back in shape and had an MRI last week to try to discover why it was still bothering him. "The last couple of games, I've regressed," McGrady said during halftime of Wednesday's game. "I've felt pain."
It's especially strange considering Les Alexander mentioned tonight that they would have an announcement on Tracy's status in a few days. This kind of cuts that off at the knees.
