since when are skills only defined based on your position?? Should tmac only shoot jump shots like a "true shooting guard", should Brooks only run an offense and pass because he's the point??

Don't you know? Labeling someone allows you to avoid having to debate the points they make. All the kids are doing it!!

Battier started playing much better defense in the end. The all-star break helped everybody.

The only player we need traded is Tracy McGrady, enough said.

Battier hitting 5 three pointers in a game doesn't mean much. New Jersey sucks at guarding the three, he got a lot of open shots, and they dropped for him.

I like that the last couple games Battier has been getting more scoring opportunities off cuts to the basket. And he made a number of great defensive plays this game. The 3-point shooting will come and go; good movement on offense and playmaking on defense is what I want to see from him game to game.

Let's just hope this is a start of what is to come for Shane as far as the rest of this season is concerned.

I'm glad he had a good game but one good shooting performance after a number of poor games is not enough. Still,it is a step in the right direction.

YAH IRRATIONAL JUDGMENTS AFTER ONE GAME! seriously i like battier, but don't say anything until he plays consistently well, you all knock tmac for not being consistent so you have no right to praise someone for one game. granted, his foot has been messed up all year, but he has to be consistent with his offense or we won't win many playoff games

only one game ... plus you posted even before the 4th quarter started, so essentially you based Battier's "comeback" on three quarters. LOL.

Atleast wait for a few games.

The worst part of the battier bashing is this is really the first time as a rocket that his play has been poor for an extended period and it's due to an injury. He's been nothing but consistent and durable while he's been here, yet the hate is just as bad as it is toward Tmac, who has had his injury and lack of heart issues this year AND in years past. So the only logical conclusion is most of these haters are fair weather fans.
