No Carter Trade Please... Tonight was really a telling sign. Our team plays much better with TMac sitting on the pine (at least for now). I hope he gets better, but at least his contract is expiring soon, so we can make a decision. I really like the look of our team. I think it would be terrible for us to trade Artest, Brooks, Landry and Battier for Carter. He is a good talent, but I think that its better to keep the team intact. If we trade anyone, maybe we can trade Artest for equal talent. Other than that, lets keep our team stable and just continue to battle.
Maybe this was just one game, you have to wait and see with more games, but trade deadline is just in 48 hours.
I like Artest but he's not a restricted free agent and his expiring contract is the most tradeable asset we have. Personally, Carter played really well today. At first I hated the idea that we would even consider Carter but he's starting to warm up to me.
isn't it awesome how good we are when all those jacked up 3's are falling? we just torched the Sac Queens and Nets. If we can still get anything for McGrady+Battier/Hayes/Head but keep Landry/Scola/Artest/Brooks/Wafer I say do it.
umm...this was against the nets wait til the mavs come in town and see how we fare, although the rocket killer is out you still make the trade if tracy is your bait.
One good game and now you dont want a trade One good game and now you dont want a trade ok from when i started looking on here at 4:00 you guys were pleading for the Vince Carter trade and now that the Rockets had one good game against a team they were suppose to beat you dont want to trade for Carter,what happens when we play the cavs in about a week and battier has a bad game and so does artest are you gonna be regreting that we didnt trade for VC if they go into a slump and VC goes to dallas and tears it up Vince had 30 points tonight just imagine what he could do with a great team and for granted if the rockets start slacking like they did some of you guys will be complaining about the play of shane or T-mac or yao yeah shane had a good game but you really think he can keep this up all season and if that happens i will post a new thread saying i was wrong
Trade who for whom? I think most people were against an Artest/Landry trade for Carter, but most were for a Tmac trade for Carter. After this game, that hasn't changed.
Thank you. People complain no matter what. I find it pointless to post in threads like that anymore because people will pms over everything. Artest goes 1-9 and everyone wants him gone, he does decent for 2 games in a row and no one wants him gone? That's what you call band wagon people, because they arent fans, they are band wagon people.

I am pretty sure everyone is on board for a Tracy/Vince swap.... Giving up Artest and Landry is just toooooo much though....
