I mean, with Tracy on the bench. Can Yao, Artest, and other starters lead our solid bench into the 2nd round?

Depends on who we play in the first round.

Very true. If we hold on in the 5th spot, we'd be playing Portland (as of today) or possibly Denver. I honestly think we can beat them.

Yes easily, with Von Wafer replacing T-Mac it should be quite easy. Let's hope Wafer isn't a choker though.

But matchups are also key. We don't want to matchup with the Blazers simply because they don't have any weaknesses in any of their positions.

This team is so inconsistent that I can't tell you if we could beat the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs.

We're playing the Nets, relax, they may be one of worse teams on the road.

Without TMac, I am not very confident with the bench. Today against the nets, the bench did not play well as team until Yao came in to help.

It's hard to tell right now.

With Tracy sitting, we'll learn a lot about our team right now.

With consistent rotation, what can a Tracy-less Rocket team do? Will they lose to bad teams? Are they not talented with Ron and Yao to beat the better teams?

We never had a consistent rotation. And with Tracy sitting, we are going to see if we truly need Tracy like we needed him the past few seasons.

We could beat Portland, Phoenix or New Orleans hands down
Could go either way with Utah, Dallas and SA
Very unlikely we could beat LA

We don't need Wafer to put up 15 a game. We just need him to go out there and hustle and put pressure on the defense. We have enough talent to play within the system and win.

    Were you watching the game?

Bench is the one that gave us a big lead in the 2nd quarter.

At one point, our bench outscored their bench 19-1.

    How many home games left?

We are 12 W - 1 L (to Lakers) at home without Tmac

Hopefully Tracy will give us a definitely answer sometime soon. Just sit him as long as it takes to bring back the old Tracy. Meantime, we can see what this team is capable of.

    No doubt!

This team plays so unselfish with tracy out. They know what it takes to win, get the ball to Yao and go to work from there.

We have good shooters and good slashers. Plus it looks like our spacing has gotten better as of late.

Depends on our first round opponent. Versus the Lakers/Spurs? Probably not sad to say.
