Seriously...this team NEED Artest, the most FEAR player in the league. Nobody wants to go up against this guy or at least afraid of him.

Plus there is something that you can't find in other players...HEART and DESIRE to win!! You don't find that in Tmac...but Artest give it all every time he's on the court?? WHY? Because he's competitive player...things you can't find in others. It means a hell lot when you have that fire in you that you don't find in other players...because it means the different between winning and losing. Scola has that fire....Yao has that too...and so is Artest...wait until you see him in the Playoffs game. This guy will dominate both end because his desire to win will propel him to do well.

Tmac and Vince Carter DON'T have the fire!! So that's why i say it's better to trade Tmac!! And don't even bring Carter over here.

I agree with the premise of your post.

I would take Carter if we can get him in a deal that ships out McGrady, but Artest brings the fire.

We may aswell put it all into winning a title THIS season, because there seems to be very few ways we can stay in serious contention for the next 4-5 seasons.

    Artest = Beast

    We called Landry, Mandry.

But Artest just takes it to another level.

Been many threads about this, but I do agree. No reason to trade Artest, He really isn't a problem at all. He has caused no problems what so ever as a Houston Rocket. Our scapegoat is T-Mac, although he is not our blames for our 1st round exits. He is our blame for our lack of consistency.

    I agree 100%

DD you're wrong, Artest fits, he did in Sacto with Adelman as the coach and he's doing it here when T-Mac doesn't play.

T-Mac is the cancer on this team and needs to be shipped immediately.

I don't know why people are so eager to trade Artest, either. . . he's still a pretty good player, especially on defense. We don't really need another scorer...mainly more chemistry, consistent defense, and another C/PF who can rebound.

I really hate the deal, which involves Artest, Hayes, Landry, and Head.

T-Mac can't play with all others. You should know it. When T-Mac is in court, no one would like to defend.

Don't care Les's word, then we should keep Artest and trade or bench T-Mac.

Ron will play significant role in playoff games!!! He is the only person we can completely rely on in playoff games. If we trade him, i would be pissed off.

Ron should stay. He's a nice, hard-nosed B-Ball player that is helping us period.

Totally agree with you, man. To trade Ron instead of TLady is not only stupid, but plain wrong as well.

LOL. "Completely rely on" and "Ron Artest" don't really belong in the same sentence.

As far as this season is concerned, if it is determined that T-Mac has to miss the rest of the season due to his injury, then what you said about Artest not being able to play with T-Mac would only be irrelevant IMO.
