http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Rockets_Ready_To_Make_SecondH-300988-34.html Houston - "It’s time. For us, it’s been time since before the All-Star break. Each game is a must-win game if you don’t want to drop from a possible fourth seed to not even making the playoffs." - Rafer Alston, upon being asked about the Rockets’ post All-Star break mentality Good article, great to see everybody's focused and hopefully Artest will stay.
After reading this article, I have a feeling that only a minor trade will happen... Possibly only consisting of Luther Head for a draft pick or something.
Rockets have been known as a 2nd half team ever since Tracy McGrady has came into this team. I also believe Yao Ming is a 2nd half player, during the past seasons he's usually had his best during the 2nd half of the season minus last year and 2 years ago. Last year because of injury and 2 years ago too, and he was putting up MVP numbers before that injury that year. But in the past, it's shown that Yao is known as a 2nd half player. Let's hope he can lead the Rockets to more wins.
Money balls. I don't think rockets will get much better by trade now. they will not do the desparated moves like suns/dallas dis last year.
You guys don't know Ron Artest, he is playing for a contract right now and he really is a headache. I live here close by Indiana and have watched the Pacers play a lot. I would trade Artest right now for some good pieces.
I think he's got the right attitude. It's important to come prepared everyday, and taking care of the small "unimportant" things helps for the big picture, and for team cohesion.
If they can straigthen out everything in the locker room, I'm sure they'll have a decent post-ASG run.
