It's all about mind games. We could not shop TMac since no one is interested so we can only hope he gets back to his good self and play hard for us. Whose words in the Organization value most?

He won't deal Tmac because he can't.

We'll be able to trade him next season though.

Ron will be traded before the trade deadline Thursday, and Tracy will be traded before next year's trade deadline. His value will be much higher after this season with his contract coming off the books in 2010. Or if we decide to keep him and let the contract come off OUR books in 2010, make a push to bring Bosh back to Texas. I'm not sure if all this Vince Carter talk is going to lead to an actual deal, but I hope so. If not, then continue shopping Ron until we get an offer that Morey is happy with. I trust him to make a good decision on any moves we make. But one thing im sure of, we need to make some kind of a move to wake up this team, because with the squad we have right now, it looks like it would be one and done again for the Rockets in the playoffs.

What does Les see in Tracy?

    What I see is a ...

    overrated
    lazy
    arrogant
    half-assed superstar

Need I say more? Lazy eye? McBrokeback?

I guess he didn't want a dime for a dollar.

Only, he really is just a dime at this point. :'(

If we play the Jazz this year, we'll win guarenteed.

    The Jazz suck this year!

Les is right, the Rockets acquired a great superstar. Problem is, at least this season, he is not a superstar, and there's doubt as to whether he will be again.

So he's either bluffing, stroking McGrady's ego because they can't trade him or is completely delusional.

He is waiting until next season when his contract will be the most desirable. Still a slim chance he decides to play next season and we see the TMac of old.

I hope the big announcement as well is that TMac is out for the season. Von Wafer has been the better player all year.

A lot of good speculation around here....

...but I, for one, am not afraid of standing pat.

    I still like our chances.
