Translation: We offered McGrady to the Nets and got completely shot down?

Why would you say that, what if a killer offer came in then you'd look like a jerk. This whole TMac drama is wearing on me.

I don't get this at all. He's willing to let Hakeem go to the Raptors, but he won't even consider a TMAC trade.

What I dont get is why the Rockets didnt ask tracy to get those second opinions earlier so they can know what direction they can go with before the trade deadline looming. Sometimes the Les can be so frustrating.

This organization isn't known for handling these kind of things very well anyway. I'm sure if a good deal presents itself, we'll take it.

I didn't think we needed to make a move in the first place.
    It's whatever.

That's odd. During the Nets game tonight Drexler mentioned the T-mac trade rumor to aquire Vince Carter. I love T-mac, but I'm seeing a dark side to him (t-Mac). I don't think T-Mac is happy anymore. C'mon Les, let's go ahead and trade him. I love him as much as you do, but man, it's time. Just don't see him getting any better.

Wake up, Les! Yao for sure is not gonna to waste all his career here with your idol Tmac. Don't take him for granted. He DOES has his own opinion like rest of us.

I am not a doctor but I will give my 2nd opinion

    McLady is a wuss.

His knee didn't stop him from going to Las Vegas & hanging out with Chris Angel.

What a slacker. If I was Les I would be peeved at the return on the 21 mil I gave Tslack

I'd rather keep McGrady and deal Alston and Head for whatever.

If you all really thought there was a good chance of him being dealt then you were kidding yourselves. Dumping him and getting saddled with crappy contracts the next 4 years will not help the team overall. I will be surprised if he's not traded by next season's deadline due to his attractive expiring contract.

What I'm thinking is that if the Ron for VC trade goes down, can't we bring T-Mac off the bench like we did with Artest?

    Skip
    Carter
    Shane
    Scola
    Yao

    Bench:
    TMac
    Wafer
    Brooks
    Landry

With this way, T-Mac doesn't have to play a lot of minutes. He'd be more of a #1 option with the bench, as opposed to sharing shots with Yao and Carter. The less minutes Mac plays, less chance of injuries and the fresher he will be for the playoffs.

That's why this team is going no where. When you have an owner that come out and back up a superstar that obviously on the decline and you have an owner that continue to believe in him, then the marriage will never end and the team will never get a championship until the owner wake up and get freaking clue.

I believe it's same reason Morey came out and declare Tmac is fit for the team at a time when Lakers' GM said he's looking to listen in on the Kobe trade a couple years back before they got Gasol. Alexander don't know what's he's doing imo.

I don't think we are getting Carter for Artest straight up.....probably Landry/Battier and Head/Hayes will go with him.

That will not be possible since the Rockets only play this game before the trading deadline this Thursday. Next game is not till after the trading deadline agains the Mavericks. So, TMac will not be able to display his game.
