Quit giving Nugget fan a hard time. They (scratch that), He has no team to follow in Denver. How many Nugget websites are out there? How many could there be with only one fan? If he wants to vent here, let him.

If you read my original post there's three of us now on this board  so your argument doesn't really have any backing Bob.

Ah, a Nuggets fan with the moniker of "Rocketsin2040" will definitely win over the crowd...:p

I thought that being the most realistic person about the longterm success of the Rockets would make me rather popular :D

Perhaps if you weren't such an idiot trying to lump yourself with legitimate posters who happen to have 1st allegence with the Nugz your optimism would be recognized.

whoa! settle down XD :) ha ha...

I wasn't aware that there was a certain policy in order to become a 'legitimate poster.' maybe, in time I can hope to become as respected in this fantastic community in which rocket fans happen to post at... as other nuggets fans. if not, i'll die trying

it'll be tough but i think i can do it. :p

    Rocketsin2040,

Well, not that my opinion/post counts for much, but I have to give props just for the funny subject line to your post. It's even more funny that you were talking about yourself.

I'm just suprised nobody has bothered to jump in and tell you that this is the wrong forum for that particular post.

Oh wait, did I just do that?

I didn't notice that before... thanks for pointing that out. I might have intentially typed that up, based on what I thought the initial reaction would be for another Nuggets fan posting. It's most likely a slight exaggeration.

I figured it'd be best to post my thread here since most Rocket fans would frequent here with beliefs that Houston would be unbeatable with the #5 and #15 pick... haha..

    I'm just playing... Honest! :)

so since this is a draft thread, who should the rockets draft?

i think the nuggets will draft dejuan wagner.

And the Rockets continue their amazing dynasty in 2040 by winning the NBA championship for the 8th time in 10 years!!!!! The Rockets were led by 30 year-old veteran Eddie Griffin, Jr. who won his NBA record seventh consecutive championship ring. Houston defeated the Mexico City Nuggets four games to zero to complete the sweep in the championship series.

One of the two franchises mentioned moves to the Eastern conference then?

I'm pretty sure that Bill Russell won more than 7 consecutive championships.

Actually, by then the conferences will probably be something like the NBC conference and the ESPN conference. Whatever makes the NBA the most money.

Maybe they will give up on the East all together and seed everything based on rankings instead of conference.

Oh, and to answer Rocketsin2040's question

I really don't have an opinion about who they draft, I just know what I don't want them to draft. A plodding "center" with potential. This league doesn't need any more Ostertags, Collier's etc. (name your favorite center to bash).

Actually, I would rather see the Rockets trade for semi-proven talent than pick up another project. We've got enough of those already.
