T-Mac did not practice today as he continues working on a 2nd opinion on the knee. He's out for tomorrow night and of course he is day-to-day beyond that.
Rockets Practicing at night this evening. Carl thinks we'll definitely make the playoffs. He saw his family during the break to get his mind off of basketball. His brother is in the tournament. Rockets are only about half a game out of homecourt advantage. Landry thinks the losses are what makes this team better. Rockets tell Landry that when he's open take the shot outside. Landry thinks Artest and Yao are good passers and it makes it easier for him to score. He hopes that McGrady gets better so he can help them advance in playoffs, but he has confidence that they can fill in the void without him. He's optimistic that they will be better in the second half. He watched the rookie/sophmore game. Wexler jokes about Yao's one bucket. Then Wexler says that Yao does so much for the Nba even without the Allstar weekend. Landry says that Yao means alot to the Nba. He's almost the face of the Nba, if not the face of the Nba. The trade deadline is approaching right after tomorrow's game against New Jersey. Landry says nobody in the locker room is talking about trades and everyone's excited about the second half of the season.
Well, usually players don't know what will happen, so lets hope that's the case. I don't believe Morey will go trade-less this season. I admit though, we're in a good position financially, so that lessons the need for a trade..
