This should stir some emotions. Would you do this trade? Houston sends Francis/Rice/Cato/KT/#5 pick to Seattle. Seattle sends Payton/Lewis (resigned)/James (resigned) to Houston. Seattle could end up with a lineup of: C: Stoudemire/Booth/Cato/Drobnjak/Oyedeji(IL) PF: KT/Baker/Long(IL) SF: Radmanovic/Sesay SG: Mason/Barry PG: Francis/Shammond/Watson(IL) Or, instead of Stoudemire, they could take Gooden or Wilcox to play the PF position. Houston would end up with a lineup of: C: James/#15(Marcus?)/Collier PF: Taylor/Griffin SF: Lewis/T-Mo/Walt? SG: Mobley/Torres PG: Payton/Moochie/Brown This probably will never happen, but I'm bored & had to try something. What do you think?
Then we could sign Jeff McInnis to part, or all, of the mid-level exception. After that, assuming that Atlanta doesn't get in the top 3 picks & doesn't have a first round pick, we could trade Moochie/Collier for Nazr Mohammed. That would give us a revised lineup of: C: Mohammed/James/#15(Marcus?) PF: Taylor/Griffin SF: Lewis/T-Mo/Walt? SG: Mobley/Torres PG: Payton/McInnis/Brown But, there's more.......

TRADE ACCEPTED while we're posting silly trades as for your trade, I have no faith in Payton leading a young team to a championship I think Lewis will cost us too much and would rather draft a SF with a nice rookie contract
Ya, let's trade a 25 year old for an over 30 year old. What would that do for us? Will we be able to win a championship with that team?
Next, I'll trade Taylor to Minnesota for Jackson/Peeler/future conditional #1 pick. This'll give us a replacement for Taylor with a low post game & an upgrade at the backup SG position. Griffin & Jackson at the PF spot gives Rudy the versatility that he loves. This trade gives us another revised lineup of: C: Mohammed/James/#15(Marcus?) PF: Griffin/Jackson SF: Lewis/T-Mo/Walt? SG: Mobley/Peeler/Torres (IL) PG: Payton/McInnis/Brown(IL) TRADE ACCEPTED!!! I'm on a roll now. Somebody stop me!
I guess we're off the Parker bandwagon now? He looked like a worldbeater before last night. I guess it's a lot harder to score efficiently when you are the #1 option and you have no post prescence. Sound familiar?
Why stop there. If you find some way to get rid of Mobley and Griffin (maybe to Toronto for Carter - play him at the 2), and assuming we just don't resign Walt, the onl player left from last year not on the IL would be T-Mo. I know you're thinking that then we don't have our PF of the future, but we could pick up somebody with the 15th pick.
I'd buy Sonics season tickets if the Rockets did that trade. It would be fun for about a season, but the fact remains that Payton is getting old, and will be on the down-swing of his career in a few years.
that is the stupidest suggestion i have ever heard. just sign lewis out right. why would u trade away a guy with at least 12 more years for a guy with maybe 4 more years. just plain stupid.

The other theory is that your creative juices are stifled in the workplace and these Trade Accepted threads are an outlet for you to exercise your underutilized talent. Mango
