im tired of the rockets settling for players with "hustle and heart" Thats what Hayes sits on the bench for. To Hustle in practice and give us Heart on the bench. If someone offers an upgrade on offense and especially defense take the deal.
Amen. Scola must stay. Glad to see him getting his due on this board. He's one of those players where the stats don't tell the whole story. And the stats are bad either.

I love both Landry and Scola...if I had to chose between the two, I would trade Landry. My reasoning is that Landry can score and dunk (although he doesn't seem to be the explosive Landry of last year) but he can't rebound. He doesn't know how to position himself very well. With that said, I think Scola is a monstrous PF because he can rebound and shoot a very similar range as Landry. Sure he can't dunk (OK, occasionally he does) but on the bright side he can flop. So that gotta be a plus! In my eyes, Yao, Tracy (more valuable next season), and Scola are the players (OUR <del>BIG</del> BEST THREE!) I wouldn't trade this season. I love the rest but I love the Rockets more.
What are you talking about? Rockets are known for making the big moves. MCgrady, Pippen, Barkly. We are not a team that supposedly settles for "HUstle guys" Every team in the league favors guys who can hustle anyway. As for Scola, he has more heart and hustle that your average "hustle guy". He is special, and we need to keep him.

Luis does hustle, but that's not all he does. He is a decent offensive player and a good rebounder. He's the best pf we've had in a long long time. He's a keeper.
