Dang, that's a great idea instead of cloning his dog.

Great thing about it is even if he invests $1, he's still further ahead than the gov. will ever get.

With the title, I was sure this thread was going to contain a pic with Dirk sitting in Cuban's lap at some drunken aftergame party with all of the Mavs.

    No stars.

Break even in 60 days? Cash flow positive in 90 days...well there goes my idea.

    I may post it anyway.

He's a douche on the courtside, but for him to read and respond to all that, you can't help but respect the guy.

I've always wondered about this. What makes him a douche in that capacity? He just seems as into the game as any other fan. Granted, I don't get to see as many Mavs games as you probably do since I am outside of Texas, but that is the impression I have always gotten.

It's basically seeing him in a shirt and jeans, sitting amongst the crowd and going crazy when something goes good for them, or screaming at refs when something goes wrong.

I guess it's cool to have an owner that's as passionate as the fans are, but he's really the only owner that does that and it makes him stand out a lot.

If being a passionate fan is being a douche I guess that's why toyota center is so quiet because houstonians aren't douches?

The part that makes him a douche is that he thinks he is above the game. He mouths off in the media all the time about stupid things. He condones stupid behavior from his players by offering to pay their fines. It is not the fact that he gets emotional during games, its the fact that he thinks all the games revolve around him that makes him a douche.

How many owners do you know that get into media feuds with other team's players? How many owners do you hear claiming conspiracy when their team does not do well?

I don't think anyone has a problem with him during most of the game. The one thing I think everyone can appreciate about him is that he loves his team. It is when he pulls the other bull**** that draws attention away from the game and to himself is when he becomes the douche.

I do not understand why Mavs fans get their panties in a wad when anyone criticizes Dirk or Cuban. It is as if they believe that both of those guys are infallible and God's gift to basketball.

However, away from basketball, Cuban does seem like a down to earth person. For the most part, a decent guy.
