I cant wait till we roll down the stretch and people see that we're a TEAM....not a TMAC. Von is a more than capable shooter with tons of energy and that's all we need from our 2 spot. We 2 decent pg's, a two guard full of youth and energy which our old 2 guard did not have, a 3 who is a ball hawk when healthy, a 4 full of energy and hustle, and the great wall in the middle. Our Bench includes Ron Artest,Brent Barry,Carl Landry,Aaron Brooks, and Deke and thats as good a bench as any. Our main ballstopper and team chemistry killer are gone. I dont know about you but with no clear favorite out west with Bynum done, I think this team can contend with anyone. Are we really scared of a spurs team that starts Matt bonner and finley? Or a Lakers team with Luke Walton and Odom? Denver with Nene and Kenyon Martin? Or even NO with Tyson Chndler,Peja and Morris Peterson? Our starting 5 is still one of the best om tje ;eague, yes with Wafer and our top 9 are as good as any.Im happy that TMAC is gone and its time to do what you get paid to do battle like pro athletes.
I'm having a hard time deciphering the original post, but this is a thread I can support. There are a lot of people here who equate fans frustration with #1's soap opera with hating the Rockets, but nothing could be further from the truth. This team does have something ... Enough to win a championship? Well, that is difficult to call in any year, but in my eyes, they've got a legitimate shot to make some noise as a team without player #1. Certainly, I feel confident in being able to make it out of the first round at a minimum...
